Excellent food, friendly service, great location. Among the best calamari I’ve had, lamb shoulder slow cooked to perfection with red wine jus.

Driving the great ocean road, the wife saw 4 stars on google. I ordered a chicken snitzel and chips and she had sweet potato fries. The meal was oily, over battered chicken, a spec of salad. The beer was good and the food needs a...complete overhaul or they are paying the right person to give google ratings. My advice is try the cafe insteadMore
Great beers and some nice cider. Well worth a visit if you like your ale. Decent pub grub. Staff at the bar and in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful.
Thank you, for taking the time to leave us a good review!
This place happened to be right next door to our hotel (Comfort Inn The International). Went in for a beer then went back for dinner. Booking is recommended in the bistro. Staff very friendly and the local ale very tasty along with the food. Good...menu selection. Nice log burner & comfy seating area.More
Thank you, Tracy, for taking the time to post such a great comment on your experience with us.
Went for lunch and beers for boys weekend . Loved the XPA on draught and the Mexican parmigiana. Footy was on so it was perfect.
Thank you, for your fabulous review!
Our meals were terrible! Cheese on burger and steak sandwich was not melted and bread was not toasted. My parma was thick, tough and inedible. There was a pool of salad dressing on my plate covering my chips. I received a full refund and gave...the chicken to my dog at home (who enjoyed it!). My husband ordered two glasses of wine and received (and was charged for) two large glasses of wine (which are 250 mL instead of 150 mL). I took them back to the bar for another refund🙄. This is irresponsible serving of alcohol IMO. Crappy food, wine and experience in general Beer and olives were good.More

It calls Prickly Moses Brewing Co. Unique place - stunning old building, special interior and many types of crafted beer. We mostly liked food. Burgers were the best on the Great Ocean Road! And Parma was delicious! Generous plates, good staff, warm atmosphere made our...evening special. Speaking of warmth - it was cold weather and the restaurant had just a couple of heaters, so we did not feel really comfortable and stayed in jackets. Also, we offered cocktail and confused bartender. I think people do not drink cocktails in this bar too often, so bartender tried to find their cocktail menu and then the ingredients for the cocktail. But I really understand this situation - it is a brewery, so people come to try beer, not cocktails. We offered two different beers - Prickly Moses Otway light, which we did not like, and Prickly Moses Mid Strength, which was absolutely fantastic. Both beers have some awards, so it is just our opinion! Overall, our experience with this place was very good. Thank you, chef and staff and management!More
Thank you, Yelena, for taking the time to leave us a good review!
Wonderful place to sit and try all the different beers. The staff were very friendly as well as the locals who visited the pub while we were there. We stopped in for a beer and ended up staying for hours.
Thank you for an awesome review, look forward to seeing you again.
If visiting in winter make sure you ask NOT to be seated in between the 2 outdoor areas as not even the staff know how to close a door! Had to ask for the nearby heater to be turned on which had little effect.More
Hi Kylieh, Thank you for your feedback. We will follow up this issue with our waitresses to make sure they all know how to close the doors. We did have some issues on this night with our heaters. This has all been solved now. Warm...More
Just average pub food, nothing special, but not a disaster. Had nachos followed by fish & chips. Had much better elsewhere, but also had worse. The Guinness was OK.
Thank you for your feedback! It has been passed on to our management team to follow up.
All four wanted the pub meal so this one rated the best! Mex Palma and Fish and Chips, The Palma was nice but not startling and was very pricey @ $30 plus! Fish and chips was large and all loved the salad with the meal!...Chips were nice! Busy place and tried a beer! Was good! CheersMore
Thank you for the review! Our prices are standard in our industry and in our small remote town. Hope you understand! Glad you enjoyed your meal and the beers :)
Pretty large restaurant. Good chicken Parma and nice beers. This Retaurant can house many guests at the same time. Staff is good and friendly.Because of the weather we were unfortunately not able to sit outside.
Thank you, for your fabulous review!
The place is nice and the beer wine very good. We had food which was poor. The chicken snitzal was poor, the batter soft and just not nice. My wife had noodles which were greasy and just…..unpleasant. We didn’t finish either. The place was doing...lots of business but felt quantity over quality. What I didn’t understand about the area was it’s famed for scallops, try and find a scallop on a menu apart from inside a pie?!More
