Despite being winter, we had to stop in at the local ice cream shop in Apollo Bay. Their selection was extensive compared with other shops we had been to over the previous few weeks. And good value for money. Personally I recommend the Turkish delight...ice cream.More

A great experience

When I arrived at dooleys i offered to shout my friends ice creams we all got the gay time ice cream and it was delicious but the best part of the experience was the amazingly young lady that gave us three ice creams for free

Top Rate Ice Cream

Stopped in Apollo Bay for lunch while touring Great Ocean Road. Decided to come here for dessert. They have some very unique flavors -- if you want to try vegamite ice cream, here's your chance. LOL I went with a more traditional choice of Bailey's...and coffee chocolate crunch. Was excellent.More

Incredible ice cream. Impossible to choose a flavour. Truly the best ice cream I have ever had in my life. They also have gelato.

We spotted the queue for this shop when we first arrived at Apollo Bay. It was definitely worth it! Despite the long queue the wait was not that long, the employees did an amazing job quickly serving everyone. The flavours were so good, choice of...ice cream, gelato and sorbet. Simply delicious ice cream

Flavors are delicious - I had Banana choc chip gelato so yummy! The line can get long and you run the risk of getting the passive aggressive surf shop owners attacking you for lining alongside their wet suits ( would have though they’d appreciate the...business) but no they would prefer you stand right away from their shop. Maybe try the other surf shops for some holiday friendliness.😅More

Best ice cream in Australia

We were a party of 4 and one of our party is an ice cream fanatic. So, based upon on-line reviews, we had to stop at Dooley’s while on our Great Ocean Road scenic drive. It did not disappoint. The wall is plastered with awards...(easy to taste why) and I love all things chocolate – usually end up with something chocolate based. The chocolate, and their many variants were great, but I ended up with Blackberry. Incredibly refreshing. Spectacular. We tried a variety of flavours. It is the best ice cream in Australia! If I could, I would DEFINITELY GO BACK.More

Chilli chocolate ice cream

We ordered a 3 scoop cup which allowed us to try 3 different flavours. The chilli chocolate icecream was DELICIOUS and my companions enjoyed the pistachio gelato and the passionfruit icecream.

Amazing ice cream, no wonder they have won so many awards.

Amazing ice cream and gelato with a large amount of flavors to choose from. Stayed in Apollo bay for 4 days and had an ice cream every day.
