This little unpretentious restaurant in Apollo Bay is not to be missed. The food is divine. Well cooked food that is beautifully presented. The chef is a character that adds to the ambiance too.

There is great joy in finding a small hidden restaurant in a backstreet of a lovely place like Apollo Bay, and having it exceed all expectations. This was unequivocally the best food we’ve eaten anywhere between Adelaide and Melbourne. Locally sourced and prepared by a...chef who so obviously loves what he does. Our entree of chargrilled octopus terrined and delicately sliced, fresh from the bay served simply with a dash of EVOO and a sprig of dill was exquisite in its simplicity and a delight to the palate. Equally so the scallops in butter and Pernod. The duck breast main was lightly smoked and accompanied by roasted chestnuts and a crispy baby spring onion with a rich duck jus. It was melt in the mouth. A hearty venison osso bucco from locally harvested venison came with a beautifully judged potato mash and parsley and was satisfying and delicious. We shared the most delicate tangelo crème brûlée with raspberry jus, light, palate cleansing and the perfect way to finish an outstanding meal. There was an appropriate selection of wines and other drinks available. Went to Graze again for my birthday boys weekend. All had 3 courses, wine, beers and cocktails. Great food and service. Would highly recommend for any occasion.

so good to eat in a place that serves top class food .We shared a dumpling entree, which was so fresh and not at all stodgy as dumplings can be. The mains were sensational (a steak and pork belly) and we shared a desert .All...the courses were beautifully presented and the service was immaculate in terms of giving you time to choose yet being prompt and attentive. Make a reservation to guarantee seating, Thursday night and they were very busy. Service was excellent. Good selection of cocktails . Wow dinner was excellent. We ordered pawns small plate followed by duck and my husband ordered the Venison. All three dishes were delicious, well...prepared and well done on the presentation. Definitely one of the best meals we had. We are finding some real hidden treasures outside the larger cities.More

Looked them up on TA and thought we would try them out. Good ratings! Had the empanadas for entree which were a spicy delicious. Missus had the duck and I had the hickory lamb. Delicious food, good drinks and great value for price plus friendly staff. We enjoyed our meal so much that we went back the next day.

Let me start with the most important thing - the food was amazing. Flavoursome and generous. Entrees average around $14, mains between $33 (for a tofu salad) and $40ish for steak or lamb. We had the onion bhaji and marinated octopus for entree and the...steak and lamp rump for main. For drinks - a fabulous French martini and a bourbon and Coke. Total was $154. No dessert. The staff were friendly and professional. Service was really prompt too - and meals came out fresh and hot. So why not 5 stars you ask? It was very hot and very noisy - a full house for a Saturday night. With no ventilation or visible air conditioning, it was so hot we had to leave after mains. It was also incredibly loud - all hard services in the venue so the noise was epic. To be fair we didn’t complain or ask for the (visible) corner mounted fans to be turned on. We would return for the food but might not book for 7pm which seemed the busiest time.More

This was one of many dinners over the course of a 2 month trip to Australia and New Zealand and stood out for its sheer quality. The menu challenged us as there were a number of options we fancied. The food was delicious and well...presented and the service was friendly and attentive. Thoroughly recommend.More
