Went to order and bar tender told us he was too busy to take our order. And come back in 10 minutes. Waited and ordered 2 espresso martini’s to then be told I don’t have time for that. Bar tender was grumpy and rude. Won’t...be back!More

Excellent tasting paddle of four gins and one gin liqueur. Nice explanation from the waitress. Liked them so much we bought a load (not cheap, mind you). For dinner I had an absolutely brilliant anchovy pizza, one of the best I've had outside of Naples....Mrs had BBQ wings and chips, which were also very tasty. I had a couple of the beers which only come in "schooners" and hence don't last very long.... The only issue I have, as with so many Australian restaurants, is that they stop serving food so early. It can't only be me that wants to sit down to dinner at the time they're shutting up shop? By 8pm they're closing up and by 9pm we were the last in the joint and felt like it. Love this place! Always a must visit when in Apollo Bay. Great gin tasting, but the food is just as tempting. Friendly service, great location and views. Tip.. walk in only so be patient on the weekend,.

Went here on a long weekend with my partner, and we both stopped in to enjoy a gin tasting paddle each. I liked that each type of gin came with its own garnish, and you could distinctly taste the different variations in each flavour of...gin. Also appreciated that the paddle came with tasting notes, so we knew what to look out for as we were sampling. The tasting paddles were quite reasonably priced, and we were pleased to purchase some gin to take home afterwards as well. We came back on Saturday night for pizza and the place was packed. What a lovely place to visit. The beer was a hit with the hubby and the gin paddle was definitely my favourite. We had lunch which consisted of AMAZING truffle oil fries, pizza, chicken wings and Calamari. All well presented with delicious salad and side...dippings. Hats off to the friendly staff and the big fella that was very kind and gave me a refreshing gin recipe to try at home.More

Large restaurant which was able to fit us in. Pleasant ambience though a bit hot and noisy. For the price, the pizzas were not good value- bland and lacking ingredients.

We visited in 2020 and were back in Lorne in August and this was on our list to visit in Apollo Bay. Once again - zero disappointment! Lovely service, amazing food and great atmosphere.

We had dinner here with our small family. The food was really yum. We didn't realize the gin tasting stops at 5 so we missed out on that which was disappointing. They were super busy so we were glad we booked.

We visited the distillery today and were pleasantly surprised. Housed in a former post office the owners have done an outstanding job in making the space a functional and enjoyable place to be. The gin sample paddle board and tasting notes is a great way...to try all of the products on offer.More

Stopped in and had a couple of the gin tasting platters. All nice gins and fun to try. Can recommend the Amphitrite Gin at the end, really tasty! Can also highly recommend the truffle fries....mmmmmm!

I'd been eyeing off the distillery in the old post office but it closed relatively early on weekdays when I made my trip along the GOR but when I returned to Apollo Bay on Saturday it was open later, for dinner, and I'm not one...to knock back an opportunity when it presents itself. I sat at one of the sheltered outside tables with my book and ordered the gin flight. When the lady asked if I wanted to try the extra, fifth gin, well, you already know my position vis a vis opportunities. Each gin came pared with a condiment. My gin palate is not very sophisticated but I could appreciate the subtle variations. The fifth gin, Old Navy, was the exception. It had a very different texture to the others. It was my favourite.More
