These Tasmanian scallop pies more than lived up to their reputation. Whilst the curry version was nice - the mornay was really special. We were there at 11am and they had already sold out twice - with good reason. So so good.

Good place for a light lunch or takewaays. A range of hot foods, sandwiches and cakes plus coffee.Excellent scallop pies!

We stopped for coffee & pastries which were OK but what really caught my eye was the huge range of freshly baked pies, sausage rolls, etc. They looked very appetising.

Delicious food - breakfast was great, good range of pies & pastries. Highly recommend, especially the passionfruit cream cakes!

Went In yesterday and bought a sausage roll and a pastie and I honestly have to say they were the worst I have ever eaten, the pastry left a fat taste and the meat wasn’t very nice no spices or herbs, the pastie was even...worse the same pastry but man the fillling was awful mostly veg that was rubbery and the meat again was awful, sorry but I ended up giving them to some chickens.More

We were staying in Bicheno and stopped here for a great breakfast and coffee. But what really blew me away were the scallop pies! We bought a couple at breakfast time to have for dinner that night. They were outstanding (we bought the mornay variety,...not the curry, and heated them up that night in the oven). They were absolutely chock-full of roe-on scallops. In the (Van Diemen’s) land of scallop pies (Tasmania), those from the Blue Edge Bakery are a stand-out!More
