This cafe was really nice. My husband and I stopped by for brunch and had lovely coffee and food. I noticed that they offered noodle/stir fry lunches, too, which is different fare to the very yummy food on offer at the other cafes in Naracoorte, and lamented the fact that it was our last day in the town and we had a booking for a Padthaway winery lunch.

We went for coffee with friends then lunch and finally breakfast before heading home. The coffee and hot chocolate was great and the food was delicious and very well priced. Friendly staff and constantly busy even at breakfast (open at 8am). If I lived here this would be my regular! It’s not a big cafe but you have the option of sitting inside or outside

A deceptively large place in the heart of Naracoorte. They were fine to hold open the cafe to help us out late in the day. A large selection of delicious slices and cakes including a number of gluten free options served at the top of the cabinet to minimise cross-contamination.
Coffee was very good.

Warm, inviting and delicious. Super friendly and fast service. The breakfast Turkish bread and the bacon and egg with the lot sandwiches were perfect. The perfect start to a full day of exploring the area.

The food at Maddies is absolutely delicious the pies are top class . The service is awesome . I will be telling everyone to go there for great service ,coffee and food love it .

Breakfast on the road to Adelaide, with Eggs benedict being the choice.
Did the job nicely without being too heavy for the next 4 hours in the car.
Service was somewhat disinterested, but not slow. Would go again.

Have been here for coffee previously but returned for lunch this time. Centrally located with indoor or outdoor seating. Good service and enjoyable meals. Gluten free options. Reasonable prices.

Nice cafe in the heart of Naracoorte. Parking available on the street. Public toilets not far to walk to from cafe. Plenty of seating. Food was good. Service was prompt.

Had lovely Coffee and Carrot cake in a lovely cafe. It has been a while since I have visited this once regular Cafe, as I once worked across the road. Nice changes, worth the stop, recommended

Travelling from Adelaide to Mt Gambier, Naracoorte is a nice country town to take a beak. There are a number of choices for a café, however we were sold on Maddies after asking a local couple for a recommendation. They were headed there and we followed. The café is popular and well supported.
Access is from Smith Street, the main street up a lane or directly from a parallel street, Ormerod Street.
The menu is café style so there are a number of choices for a light lunch or breakfast, or if you prefer just coffee and cake.
We were pleased with our choice and recommend Maddies in Naracoorte.

I chose this place after reading good reviews. I wasn't disappointed.
I ordered the turkish bread breakfast roll which was scrambled eggs, bacon, baby spinach and hollandaise on toasted turkish bread (the choice of hollandaise or bbq sauce) and a coffee. It came out in good time and I didn't think I'd finish it all, it was that big, but I ploughed through...too good to leave behind. Needless to say, I didn't need lunch later that day. Great value!

Found this little cafe hidden away in Naracoorte. Beautifully decorated. Menu was fantastic, just what we needed on a blustery day and travelling back from Melbourne. Tuna mornay, pumpkin soup, both where yummy.
