We enjoyed a wonderful and hearty breakfast each of the days we visited .The staff were helpful and the owner was a wealth of knowledge about the Island .We were given wonderful advise about the sites of the Island and suggestions about eating venues along the way.A great way to start each day

We went to the LightHouse restaurant the other day and were completely disappointed . The service was very slow and not very friendly. I ordered a quiche and salad and the quiche was so dry I could hardly cut into it. The pastry was so hard and dry, it tasted like it had been reheated for the last three days.... More

We read all the great reviews and walked up and down the street trying to find it. The address on TripAdvisor was wrong (its opposite the deli) so I've sent thru updates to TripAdvisor. Unfortunately for us it was a disaster. We ordered the raisin toast which we got with small packets of butter which had turned to oil because... More

We quickly discovered that the best place to have breakfast at a very reasonable price was at The Lighthouse Cafe. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is yummy. You must try their French toast with maple syrup and bacon :-)

Popped in for breakfast on our last day. Good generous sizes for food. Service good and sitting outside in the Sunshine was a bonus after months of rain. Friendly staff. Limited to places in Kingscote but this one was fine and we enjoyed our breakfast

Not only is this establishment guilty of having a great coffee, they are very accommodating and are so welcoming. Also serving hot food hot!! They are wonderful allowing me to take my dog under the verandah too so they are pet friendly. . I can recommend a visit if you're in Kingscote on Kangaroo Island. Call in and say hi..

Food was reasonable and what we expected for a take-away meu with seating. Considering limited eating options during July in Kingscote, this was fine for our purposes.
