This cafe had polite, attentive staff and they should be commended on this. They also serve the best coffee - Bottero.

Was in Aus from the UK for a wedding and this place served up the best Eggs Benedict we’ve ever had. The hollandaise was 👌🏻 with perfectly cooked eggs and crispy flavoursome bacon. This all sat on perfect sourdough toast and a tomato chutney (I...think) which sounds weird but was sublime. Staff were also lovely 😊More

We headed away from the really busy end of Mooloolaba and found Melody's. I own my own business and I love it when you walk to the counter and you are met with a great smile and "what can we get for you" attitude. 4...people, all of us loved our good sized breakfasts and our waiter/s were just fantastic. Having had breakfast at Melody's I left my drink bottle on the table by mistake. I called the restaurant and left a message on the answerphone asking if they could hold onto it until I came back to pick it up. It was a brand...new $30 drink bottle otherwise I wouldnt have been worried about it. I assume it was the manager/owner who messaged back to say she said she had it there and could I pick it up the next day - as they were closed now. I messaged back that I would try to get there - if I could. The following day I messaged to say I hadnt been able to get there but will try to get there asap. No reply. Admittedly it was a couple of weeks later until I was back there but she had made no contact with me so I went to the cafe only to be told by this woman (very nonchalantly) that she 'didnt have space to keep a drink bottle in her cafe & had LEFT IT ON A ROCK outside the shop for me to pick up!!" Are you serious?? The 'rock' is in the main street of Mooloolaba esplanade outside her shop so hundreds of people walk past. AS IF someone wouldnt pick it up! Firstly, how much space does a drink bottle take up??? And secondly, would a courtesy text message to give me the opportunity to pick it up be have been that hard??? HOW RUDE!!!!More

Super friendly staff and the breakfast was superb. Lovely and fresh and extremely well presented. The coffee was excellent. Would definitely recommend having breakfast here!

This review is really only for their Thai beef salad ($20) which I had a couple of times for lunch while in Mooloolaba. Really nice flavour and they don't scrimp on the beef. I loved it.

Had coffee here twice and it has to be by far the worst coffee on the Esplanade. Some staff barista training wouldn't go astray

My friend found a black worm in her burger from the salad I guess. Staff not helpful without explanation actually didn't seem to be worried. Demanded our money back, we paid by card but only gave cash back. NEVER GO THERE. Rotten service.

Great food and best service. Convenient location to our hotel. Would recommend for breakfast. Enjoy!

The food we had was lovely. The coffee was ok. From the get go the staff were rude and not very friendly. Even caught 2 staff members shaking their head and rolling their eyes at us. We asked to move 2 tables together when we...got there and they looked blankly at us, we ended up just moving them. Then we had a couple more people arrive and we asked to move another table that's when we got the head shaking and eye rolls. We weren't asking them to move the tables we asked if we could. When they bought our food out they were just not friendly at all. Will not go back there.More

We ordered two cappuccinos and threw them away halfway, because the coffee was so bitter. We even had stomach ache afterwards. Never again!
