With a carefully selected wine list and seasonal menus, there is always something new and exciting at Tides Waterfront Dining. With Lunch specials available 7 days and great old fashioned attentive service where you don't have to get up to order anything. Open 7 days for lunch and dinner, there is never a bad seat in the restaurant. We look forward to seeing you soon.

My husband and I wanted to treat my sister and her husband to a beautiful lunch after spending time with them in Caloundra. Tides was suggested as a venue and it exceeded our expectations! I have no criticism whatsoever. It was magnificent! We enjoyed two...Seafood Towers between the four of us and they were superb. The seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection, the wine was a perfect match and the service was fantastic. If you are looking for a superb meal, Tides will not disappoint. Our thanks to Andrew and his fabulous staff!More

We celebrated our 54th wedding anniversary today at Tides Waterfront. We chose the 3 course lunch deal (glass of wine incl). Fantastic food and excellent views to Bribie Passage. The restaurant was very busy and our only mark down was service was a little slow...because they were so busy. One of our best restaurant experiences in a while on the Sunshine Coast. Will certainly be back.More

Two couples enjoyed a long lunch with outstanding food and wines. The view across Bribie Passage to Bribie Island was great. an excellent selection of Australian and imported wines, and the wine waiter really was most knowledgeable. I particularly savoured a glass or two of...Freycinet Chardonnay (Tasmania) with my meal. we tried two different entrees (Fresh Pacific Oysters, and Hervey Bay Scallops), were excellent. Three of us enjoyed the selection of fresh grilled local and Australian seafood, while one of us selected the Eye Fillet with porcini dauphine, carrot puree, mushroom, spinach and jus - cooked to perfection.More

We came for a celebration and while some restaurants would put a sparkler in a cake...Alec went above and beyond. My daughter is a mocktail connoisseur -he took time to engage and delivered the best to her specific needs! As well as the food chefs...kiss.... absolutely delightful ... thank youMore

Love this restaurant, the location is fantastic with lovely views. There were 4 of us in my party. 2 of us were very happy with the food. The other 2 both chose meals where the meat was cooked sous vide style (in a bag). They...both said their meat was tasteless (one lamb, one steak). We unfortunately had a male server who was very pushy with the drinks, up-selling constantly. I found this really overbearing and intrusive. When we have dined there before the drink service was excellent, the servers asking us if we wanted another drink at the appropriate times. At one stage my husband still had half a glass of beer in his glass and the server asked him if he was ready for another one! Far too pushy. The Sous Vide style of cooking in a bag and the overbearing pushy drinks server has put me off of going back soon... something I thought I would never say about Tides because I usually love it here.More

An element of fine dining right on the waterfront. The service was excellent, the waiter knew the menu well. The food was delicious (the nut crumb on the broccolini was divine!). All food was fairly priced.

Rude service, below average food expensive, rainy day rain in the restaurant leaky roof.waitress made it like we were complaning for nothing, like being rain on. Good vue over the passage doesn't make up for average expensive mediocre experience.

We had dinner here again (as same time last year) and the overall experience was great once again!. All the staff are great and especially Tim and Andrew who work the tables with others. Attention to detail / food and service on the Sunny Coast...here? Thanks again to all for another great evening at Tides. CheersMore

We had the two course lunch special with cocktails beforehand and affogatos after. The food was tasty and well served. The service was wonderful. We has a table overlooking the beach which added to the pleasure. Even the house wine which was included in the...lunch special was good. Highly recommended.More
