Excellent coffee...but way too hot. A bit bummed it didn't see the sign for the single origins.
Toasted sandwich was yummy...although beautify toasted, still cold on the inside

Lovely relaxing ambiance:)
Sat for ages drinking a coffee and reading a paper. Bliss. A quiet but attentive cafe hidden away. Try here before you walk the Burleigh Hill. Park up in street across the road where no restrictions to park. Eat then go across the road to Aboriginal Centre then walk around The Hill to Burleigh. Shaded walk and a beach to swim on the way round. Nice relaxing day out!

Super pricey for what it was.
I got a bacon and egg roll for $12. The bread was in toasted, bacon was still soft and very undercooked. Everything was just a mush of softness. The crispiest thing on the sandwich was the corner of the egg- not ideal.
Hash browns were soft, Seemed to be the type that came out of a freezer bag.
My friends got sautéed spinach which was unseasoned and had no butter.
The hollandaise tasted very packety.
The sort of quality you’d expect from a cheap take away store not an up market cafe.
Coffee was okay.

Walked in to order coffee at 12:59 pm (sign out of the front states “takeaway coffee until 2pm”. My friend and I thought great so as we walked in I asked the blonde girl at the counter if we were able to order two coffees. She walks behind the counter and just stares at my friend and I, not asking what we were after. She then proceeded to belittle me with my coffee order. Once our coffees were ready she just put them on the table and didn’t say a word. Poor service. Definitely will not be back.

This place is hard to beat. It has wonderful coffee great food and atmosphere and is very reasonably priced! The staff are very friendly and obliging. What’s not to love! I come here often and can’t fault it!

Ordered coffee and bacon/egg rolls. Both myself and wife were violently ill. This was the only place we ate so could not have been anything else. Suggest not eating here and that a visit from health inspector is required.

Live just down the road from this place and couldn't be happier that it is so close. Service has always been great, have had some bad days though it looks like the owner has seen this issue and fixed it. Couldn't compliment them any more for there fabulous coffee. Yet to eat here.

Was recommended by a friend, most relaxed, casual atmosphere, all friendly faces, amazing service even the chefs give you a smile, food was sublime, easy, simple menu to read nothing confusing, best coffee I’ve had on the coast. The organic byron bay sourdough is the best bread I’ve ever tasted I could come back every morning just for that bread, extremely family friendly and makes you feel welcome, the vibe was great and a perfect location, couldn’t fault this cute little cafe, I’ll now be a local, thanks hidden perk.

This cafe was recommended to me by some locals whilst working in the area.
Unfortunately the first girl was so cool and unwelcoming that I literally searched for a menu, then when I asked for one she waved her hand at a pile of backward facing clipboards amidst the coffee making area and did not have the courtesy or respect to hand me one, give me a smile or make eye contact.
I ordered a latte and a avo on toast combo with a beetroot relish and fetta.
On both occassions staff walked past me and searched for me to deliver both orders, some lack of communication no numbering system and I'm really not sure how this would fuction when the cafe is packed.
The toast was thin and dry like coles purchased sourdough, it was over done for its thickness with burnt edges, that was disappointing and the coffee is not strong enough to be considered a good brew.
The decore is semi industrial in a long small space with a great sunny outdoor area.
Lacks warmth, something seems uninviting, unwelcoming and lacking in hospitality.
The toilet was awful you literally walk out to an audience of people in the couryard as you exit.
Locals and regulars get great service here it seems, as an outsider plenty of choices in Goldcoast region so I wont be back.

Thought we would try out this trendy looking cafe but walked away feeling very disappointed with the experience. The girl that served us at the front counter was extremely rude. Was honestly shocked by how un-polite she was. Food was nice. Won't be coming back though.

The girl behind the counter was unpleasant, scowling and clearly helping customers was a painful experience for her. We arrived just before the lunch menu advertised time concluded and was refused food. We decided with the attitude we got to forego coffee as well. Won't bother going back. Plenty of other willing and customer friendly joints around.
