My wife is a huge fan of Paddock Bakery and I must say, I am too. The location is a bit of a surprise being in a suburban street, but there is sufficient off-street parking for most patrons. The cafe is quaint, being located in what was originally a house and eating in the garden under beautiful trees is lovely. The coffee is very good, the staff are friendly and welcoming and like one other reviewer said, going to paddock is like visiting old friends in their home. The menu is extensive and EVERYTHING on the menu is delicious. When you go to Paddock though, you HAVE to try the creme brulee, which is to DIE for!

I loved the design and set up of this cafe. It has a lovely way of making you feel at home while your enjoying you brunch. They have a very efficient set up for the amount of customers they receive. The only table we could get was in the sun which was uncomfortable, especially when there is a 20minute wait to order food, so I recommend to get in early to get a table in the shade. The menu boasts a fantastic selection and there was an overwhelming choice of creative desserts at the counter. Overall the food was pretty good as well.

What’s not to love about this place. Great coffee great food no amazing food if you’re on a diet stay away. As you will want to eat every cake in the display cabinets the are so well presented. I had the pea and haloumi fritters they were awesome. And we had a Maltezer cookie this was soft juicy and chocolatey. This place gets busy early we went there on a weds morning at 8 am and it was full. And you know why after the first visit. Do yourself a favour and try it out. There’s gotta be something for every taste bud. Keep doing what you’re doing a 10/10 from me.

Went for lunch today, I ordered smashed burger that arrived with the meat patty burnt beyond eating, advised the waiter and got a replacement burger not much better then first. The patty is so small and thin you can't see it inside the big bun. At an average price of a good big burger you'll expect a reasonable big juicy patty!!! The other ingredients inside that burger were average/small size too. Disgusting sauce. My wife had chicken burger. Chicken was dry, very disappointing. Ordered sweet chips too, they arrived 10 minutes after we start eating, very burnt too. Very disappointing experience. Thinking twice if going to Paddock again...

Hey Dino, We're so sorry to read about your recent experience with us. We love our locals and really value your feedback. We've addressed this with our Chefs who were extremely regretful. We would have loved to have fixed this for you right there and then, however, we look forward to seeing you back in store soon for a delicious breakfast. Thanks Dino. Warm Regards always from the Paddock Bakery team.

We were a party of 14 and they effortlessly slotted us into an extremely busy Saturday morning brunch time. Tables were quickly put together, water and menus presented and all done with a smile. The food was lovely and the coffee very good. Thank you Paddock, you kick-started my birthday celebrations with perfection.

This place is as cute as they come from the interiors, exteriors to the cakes! The food is amazing but you will most likely have to wait for it as it’s no secret. Weekends I would steer clear . Week days are slightly better but still busy so I wouldn’t go if your on a time limit. They do super quirky milkshakes that are sure to send your kids hyper for about a week but they are worth it and filled with all kinds of goodies, even donuts. If you are in a hurry and go on a weekend they do have a small horse caravan thing out the front serving a few of their to die for pastries and awesome coffee to take away. I love this place so much and have been coming for years, every time i come it’s bigger. Well worth a visit if you have the time x

So excited to have breakfast here. The paddock did not disappoint initially Really chilled vibe Coffees were fantastic too We ordered the burger bread and forest mushrooms for breakfast The burger bread is made for real bread lovers. There was ALOT of bread The stuffing tasty, but let me repeat, there is a lot of bread I was looking forward to my breakfast, miso mushrooms, but when it arrived, it was more like roasted pumpkin with a side of mushrooms. Whilst I don’t mind pumpkin, but I wasn’t expecting such a big slab of pumpkin. It’s terrible complaining about bigger than expected portions, but then again, I was hoping my mushroom breakfast was light enough so that I could sample of the yummy sweets on display

The value of quality service is being lost in todays culture especially on the gold chain coast. If you like your food cold and tasteless, rude staff, dog friendly, bikie wananbe cafes then this is your place. Dos' and donts. Do take you non seeing eye dog. Make sure its a staffie or similar small member compensating breed. Do wear active wear even when you should not. Do have numerous leg and neck tattoos. Do decide what you want to order even after waiting in line for 20 minutes at the counter and take another 5 minutes doing so. Do take you laptop/ work equipment and set it up on another table other then the one you are using. Dont's Simple Just don't go there. The food is very overrated. The eggs were boiled solid sitting on what can only be described as wet dough. The sauce was bland and the meal was cold. The donuts were the same. Generous size but that's it. Cold and tasteless. You get a 10x better meal at the coffee club and dunkin donut then here. The staff were on par with the food, Very cold and tasteless. Both the coffees which were cold and very bitter were slapped down on the table in front of myself. I had to pass my wife her coffee. Really how hard is it to put a coffee in front someone. The only water available is in the main area in paper cups, if there are any jugs left, which there wasn't. I might be old fashioned but I say hello to people. When I said hi to the staff they looked at me like I used the wrong pronoun on them. Overall the locations is nice enough, the food terrible and the staff just as bad. These modern eateries need to get over themselves. Its like they think they are doing us a favour by being there.

I had the Buffalo Grilled Chicken Burger and rustic chips. Buffalo Chicken with caramelised onion and maple bacon jam is flavoursome. My lunch date ordered ‘Toad in the Hole’ just because it sounded interesting and appropriately named for Queensland. It delivered along with accompaniments of mushroom and kale with garlic all full of flavour. What a great setting sitting in the quaint garden in the gorgeous Queensland winter sun.

Sunday Breakfast for four of us. All garden and indoor seats were full so had to go up to the rooftop seating area. Ordering is at the counter which took 40mins to reach the register just to place our order. The service after then was reasonably fast, the server was almost running to get water, drinks, and food to the tables. The menu is interesting but two of my companions are very basic eaters and not much for them to easily choose. This place has a huge reputation but due to how busy it was and parking difficult to find we're unlikely to come back soon. My Mexican breakfast sounded better on paper than in reality as the cob loaf was rock hard and the rest lacking in full flavours or spice.

I finally got to visit this establishment last week and I loved it. It is definitely a must go to destination for those with a sweet tooth! There are so many naughty treats to taste; from the decadent doughnuts/combined desserts to the old school milkshakes with cream fruit and lollies on top. The atmosphere is also gorgeous as it is a gorgeous little renovated farm house with seating outside which is fully covered in shade of trees overhead. It has a little garden party feel to it. There is also seating available inside. I loved it and so can’t wait to visit again soon!! The only downer would be the difficulty in getting a park. However they have extra parking out back and the fact that they are too busy and too packed out to grab a seat so you must be early and quick!

We came here for early Sunday breaky. The layout is cool. It's big so it didn't feel crowded especially as we came around 6:30-7am before the rush. The rooftop had a nice breeze and music playing in background which gave it a nice atmosphere. Food was fantastic, and juices + smoothies was delicious. I ordered the chicken breast sandwich/burger, my fiancé had the Rueben sandwich & coconut + mango smoothie and all were delicious and filling. We highly recommend and would visit again.

Today Mum and I went in with our little dog for my birthday, we had Mushrooms and Pumpkin, I had Salmon Bagel, Latte and Black Tea, we also ordered an Almond Croissant. We Covid scanned in, Mum got a table and I ordered at the counter. I asked fir a large latte with half strength, ended up with a mini latte (about a mouthful) anyway that was the only hiccup, the food was splendid and the service was quick. We sat in a cool spot under a tree. I might mention the lady who took my order was very pleasant and efficient she was thorough with the Covid scanning which I appreciated. Lady with a few piercings. #miike2000

Other than the queue, This is a stunning place to have breakfast. Sitting at tables underneath big trees, the food selections are amazing. Almost every dish is unique in some way, And beautifully presented. Everyone had something delicious and interesting. Doughnut French toast was wonderful. Tiramisu cruffin was amazing. But I really do not like to stand for 15 minutes in a queue waiting for breakfast, this happened on Saturday and Sunday, and it happened last time. It is very disappointing that the management has not bothered to even try to fix this, But just increase the queueing area! 10 of us agreed not to go back on the weekends
