"Fresh, healthy, sensationally delicious and authentic", that's our food at The Pocket Burleigh. Large selection of vegan and vegetarian as well as meat dishes. Award winning Nat Byron's coffee, beer and wine. Casual sitting in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere less then 100 mtr from the beach. friendly and professional staff.
with great falafels, lots of grilled veg and hummus, you’ll be most satisfied with this pita pocket paradise. talk with the staff and they’ll even arrange your meal to your taste, they’re truly terrific and only wanting to please. thank you pocket pals. <3
Have lived in the Middle East before and can say the hummus plate is as good as the best I have eaten. The hummus and tahina dips are tasty as are the felafel balls - my wife and I both enjoyed our lunch there and...will be back. Owner was very helpful. Evelyn and Dani.More
I don't know how many fake accounts they had to create to make the rating 4.5 but if there was a choice of 0 star I'd give that. Paid AUD$25 for a Lamb kofta plate, got a take away carton filled with lettuce and tiny...bit of tomato and cucumber, plus 2 small skewers of lamb. You'll probably be reading this after you walk in there, get screwed and it's too late (like myself) but hey, live and learn.More
What a disappointment. We ordered ‘The Mediterranean Feast’ meant to feed 4-6 people. Not only was it all cold, it was so small. We have ordered Turkish feasts from other restaurants such as Ahmet’s in Brisbane, which are amazing. This is not a Turkish feast....We phoned to query whether or not we had received the correct order however the attendant was completely disinterested. DO NOT waste your money.More
The owner is super friendly and helpful.
Gave good recommendations and great service.
I had the falafel specialty and doesn’t look huge, but once eaten, I was full!
Taste sensation with house made falafel and truly fresh salad.
Not exactly cheap (nor expensive) but really...worth the treat.
I’ll surely be back!More
Thanks for the wonderful meal, we went here for a Birthday lunch and had a lamb kofter burger, the trio plate and the falafel plate with the lot and all was very yummy nice and fresh. Thanks regards Lucas Leah and Melissa.
