Awesome battered flat head and chips. Great Tartar sauce too. Definitely the best in the area. Came past for a late dinner before they closed.

Have been coming here for over 20 years - every time we come for holidays - and yes, sometimes not everything is perfect but always very good. However, last night (August 2023) they cooked up the absolute best battered fish and potato scallops (potato cakes...for Victorians) that I think we have ever had anywhere or at anytime. I certainly couldn’t come close! We ordered our meal as take away and even though it took us 10 minutes to get it on the plate back at our apartment, it was still very hot and crispy. Hope they can deliver this quality consistently. Yes, will be back.More
Amazing value. Battered Flathead was perfect and grilled Dory was delicious. Arrived just before it became busy at lunch time and enjoyed a cold Corona with lunch.
What a waste of our money and time. Food was far below average, fish (cod) was soggy, no flavour at all. Chips were undercooked, little seasoning. Battered scallops, paid for 4 only got two and they were not appetising at all. Scallops potatoes were oily...and batter was thick. Overall, keep walking up the road and get something else.More
Long wait. Very busy. We had a bit of everything for the family. Fresh Oysters, prawns and then cooked fish and chips, scallops and calamari. Fish was over cooked but rest ok. Expensive for what you get and long wait. Could have done better with...the quality of the fish. Oysters and prawns although fresh small and expensive.More
We waited 50 mins for our order only to realise half of it was sitting out for 20 mins getting cold! When I had enquired about our food they said here it is…stone cold! I’ve been here many times over the years. Will never come...back! Waste of time, waste of money: the prices are unreasonable and no product was delivered! I asked for a full refund and walked out with no lunch. Don’t botherMore
Such good food, especially the chips. service was impeccable would definitely recommend to friends and family.
Best fish and chips in queensland! Fish was amazing and potato scallops were even better. Excellent service by 2 young ladies (curly hair and blonde hair) Lucky to have stumbled across this gem :)) Will be visiting again.
Best fish and chip shop on the Gold Coast for sure, make sure to grab a meal here whenever in Burleigh
The worst Fish and Chip meal I have ever had. I had takeaway whiting fillets and chips. The fish was totally overcooked and dry and the chips were also overcooked with a large portion inedible. Most disappointing.
Great value fish and chips, cooked nicely and fast. Everything you could want with lots of different fish and salads available.
I have been coming here since the 70's. The standard has fallen which can be redeemed by selling fresh fish, instead of cooking fish that has been frozen for a long time. Rubbery fish is not in fashion.
Paid over $50 for rubbish, small portions over cooked, bland, and not tasty at all. Ordered a Fisherman's basket terrible too much batter, small portion and tasteless. And they offer plastic cutlery which you can't even cut into it properly. Do not recommend this place!
This place is definitely not what it used to be, had better and had worse. The battered cod was very nice, as was the calamari and the chips. The potato scallops we're all batter and the seafood sticks we're average. So overall, we had mixed...feelings about this place. Would be hard placed to recommend unfortunately.More
I visited today and ordered the dory, crumbed. The crumb was nice but the dory was the worst fish I've ever eaten from a 'fish' shop. The texture was unlike a fish fillet but more like that surimi stuff people buy. I ate the crumb...and chips and spat out the fish. It was VERY unpleasant.More
