Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The food was amazing - if you like lamb chops you can’t go past these. They were extremely accommodating to my GF request and provided some great GF Lebanese bread to go with the dips. Wade even escorted us to our car with an umbrella...during a downpour. They definitely live up to their claims of providing a warm little restaurant filled with a spirit of love and gathering.More

Our experience at Rabath was outstanding. We have been here before but this visit was even better. The food is amazing, eye fillet & lamb cutlets cooked perfectly and also great options for our vegan guest. The entire staff were brilliant and dining at the...bar was fabulous. When the Chefs had a free moment they would engage in brief conversation. Rabath is overall outstanding.More

Haven't been here for four years.Restaurant space has been cleverly utilised to encompass another fifteen/twenty people. We both had "Dinner by Rabath".which consisted of four dips with flatbread, and falafals. Then followed by two eye fillet steaks, chips and salad. To finish Baklava.Everything we had was tasty and beautifully...cooked. We had ring side seats at the counter in front of the kitchen. A bottle of McLaren Vale Cab/Sav finished what was a very nice meal.More

What a big let down. I had been looking forward to eating here having eaten the night before at Masu Izakaya about 6 doors down. I have been a massive fan of Lebanese cuisine since my student and journalist days in Washington DC, USA. I...was spoilt for choice there, but have always loved that blend of French and Middle Eastern influence. My wife knew this and made a point of leaving Masu Izakaya to chat to Rabbath next night. She spoke to the owner who promised us a table at the back, and told her to invite me....which she did.....at around 6.30pm the next night. With three adults and my recently turned 6 year old boy who is a very picky, the Share-Style menu was what we wanted. We chose a selection of Mayzah appetisers that inluded the Raw Kibbeh-Nayeh with hot Lenanese bread, the baked 7-spice cauliflower, the minced lamb kafta with babaganouj and some hummus dips and olives. I even ordered a past favourite, the tabouleh salad. But nothing really stood out as wow. It was tasty, no question, but it did not live up to the reviews preceding our visit. It was also very expensive for not much food. This was made worse by slow, unattentive service which is a pretty bad indictment considering the place was empty. For three adults and a lot of appetisers, there was barely any bread for the dips. We had to order more (at an extra cost) or we would have resorted to using our fingers to eat the remaing 50% of the dips. The 'piece de resistance' of the evening was when my wife went next door to get a pizza for my son. There was nothing for kids on the menu and as said, he is a picky eater. So she ordered and collected a pizza in a box for later. And then very aggressigvely the waiter came up to our table and chastised us for bringing food in from another restaurant! He then had the audacity to tell us, that he would let us off this one time, but we should never do it again. You can imagine how incensed I was. What honks me off the most is that the pizza was in a bag and never taken out of the box. Nor was it going to be. It was ordered because there was no food for kids and after 1 hour, my son was hungry and we were about to leave. Naturally I asked for the bill and we went next door to the Slice Pizzeria so my son could eat his dinner without feeling like a leper. I asked my wife to return to Rabbath to get our dessert, which we had paid for and not been served. And we ate that at Slice Pizzeria, where we were welcomed and treated with respect. I rarely write bad reviews but this experience was just too poor to let slide.More

Food was exquisite and service was excellent. All dishes were incredibly tasty with special touches that made them special such as white sesame seeds on the falafel with a light inside. All lamb dishes were amazing especially the Kibee. Baklava was fresh and unique -...better than any we’ve had. Multi course meal with wine pairings was absolutely perfect but you can’t go wrong with anything here due to the incredible flavors. Not pricey for what you get! Love it! Gem.More

My partner booked the restaurant based on reviews- and so glad he did. Whilst small in size; the food & service is second to none. We went with the set menu & wine pairing. The mains of the lamb & beef were “melt in your...mouth” delicious. Would certainly return again. The follow up thank you text message was a winning touch.More

I have eaten a lot of Middle Eastern food in many countries but the food at Rabbath was simply the best I have ever tasted. I must have eaten a thousand falafel but again this was the best. Rabbath is a small cosy restaurant with...friendly service - we had a slight problem with the slightly odd cauliflower dish but it was removed from the table - and the bill - with no questions asked. Rabbath is possibly not the cheapest place to eat but you get what you pay for and if I was living closer than in the Southern Highlands I would be back for more very soon.More
