Just had seafood platter, nasi goreng, black sticky rice desert here. Seafood was fresh. Sauces and sambals were authentic. The Nasi Goreng easily takes you back to Bali. Friendly service and just pleasant dining experience overall. The mother and son team in the kitchen took time out to talk to me and other customers at iur tables and get to... More

Had dinner at Jbaran in Randwick last week- was very excited as all previous visits the food has been amazing. Sadly the restaurant has changed hands and the name is the same but that's where the similarity stops. The food was terrible we had chicken satay skewers with peanut sauce but they were over cooked and the peanut sauce was... More

Our 1st time at Jimbaran was a visit we will not forget for all the wrong reasons. The positive takes on the restaurant is that it is well presented. Nice table settings, attractive Indonesian decor, friendly staff. An attractive part also is the menu but it is deceiving. There are way too many items on the menu. To keep a... More

My husband and I dined here last week. It was delicious. We had Martabak and Steamed Pork Dumpling with a sweet chilli sauce for entree. Both great. For mains we shared Lemon Grass Chicken slowly cooked in Banana leaf and Stir fried Beef in Chilli. Liked them a lot especially the yummy tender tasty chicken. Its always a pleasure to... More

Called in the morning to ask for a specific dish and Micheal was helpful enough to recommend something that taste similar to what I was looking for. Arrived at 6pm and initially this place was a little hard to find. But its hard to miss the signboard outside. I had the Nasi Ayam Anugerah with extra crumbs. The chicken was... More

Dined with family and some friends on a weeknight. Easy to book, we parked on the street out the front. Welcomed on arrival by the staff and given some prawn chips while waiting for the others to arrive. Food is flavorsome and most is close to authentic (as I was informed by an Indonesian friend and his mother who were... More

Mid week no other patrons when we arrived at 7.00pm. Super friendly service, chilled water, menus. Huge choice of dishes. Started with prawn Lumpia. Piping hot, very tasty and the chilli dipping sauce was spot on. Mains. What to choose? One Bakmi Goreng and a Kari Ayam. So - stir fried noodles and chook curry. Noodles were reportedly only luke... This is the most pleasant restaurant I've been to in Sydney. Their staff is great, they are very friendly as well as polite. Lamb shank is my favourite while other dishes are also amazing. It makes you want to return not just for the food but also for the experience. It's a good place for couples, friends and families.

We had a gathering of some family and booked a table for eight on a friends recommendation. We were all glad we did. The food was fantastic. Two entrees followed by seven courses and rice and every one a winner. Great flavours, great value and wonderful friendly service. Definitely going back. I am a fan of Indonesian food and this...
