Short Review: Must try foods - • Otak Otak • Fried Kuey Teow • Rojak Longer Review: This is a restaurant I've driven past a number of times on the way to Chatswood but never really felt sure if I'd stop. After all, I was on my way to another Malaysian restaurant there famous of their street food. So while... More

They bill themselves as The Malaysian Food Experience and they spot on: they serve great authentic Malaysian food. I've eaten here many times and, while the service is slow, the food is always sensational. I love the noodle dishes - choose their Mee Goreng and Char Kway Teow with 3 levels of heat - the hottest level works for me.... More

We went to Sambal for lunch and I ordered KL Hokkien noodles because it was on the weekend Special. It turned out to be the worst Hokkien KL noodle dish I have ever tasted. I was very disappointed with the quality. What was in the dish? A few Hokkien noodles with a couple of squid, a couple of small fish... More

I went today with my husband for dinner.I was so hungry and expecting something nice to eat.but its a disaster.I waited for the food I thought its nice coz the price is a bit expensive.but when the food served the food is terrible.Poor lighting inside the place and its like your eating in the dark.

This is a very good Malaysian restaurant especially catering to the lunch time Macquarie Park office crowd. I love going here whenever I'm visiting corporate clients for executive coaching in the Sydney North Shore area. It's also a great place to have lunch with clients. Parking is abundant at MacDonalds next door as well as some on the busy main... More

A regular for me when in Sydney, reliable and quick when you are in a hurry! Can't go wrong with the Nasi Goreng. Great value and good size portions...

If you are looking for an authentic Malaysian restaurant making mouth watering Sambal fish or prawns and tender beef randang, this is the place Malaysian people would go, so should you! The place is simple although the owner could make it more "romantic" for dinner time and we will definitely go there more often. However the food has won me... More
