Presenting Modern Australian Cuisine carefully crafted by our highly skilled chefs, The Remington offers a dining experience and not just a meal. Featuring a comprehensive hand selected wine list to perfectly accompany any dish on the menu, The Remington Restaurant is the perfect place for your next dining experience whether it be a romantic dinner for two, dinner with friends or a business luncheon.
Our menu's are changed out regularly to ensure variety and the opportunity to sample some of our chefs creations, however signature dishes like our in house aged tasmanian eye fillet are always available.
Open from 6.00Am - 10.00Pm Monday to Friday, 7.00Am- 10.00Pm Saturdays and Sundays by appointment only the Remington can cater for all occasions.
Monthly Entertainment features the last friday of each month in the Remington Restaurant. Great acoustic artists entertain between 6.00 And 10.Oo on these nights, themed menus are showcased regularly on these nights and ensure for a night of great fun, food and matched wines.

Absolutely fabulous restaurant! We had two breakfasts and a dinner here with a group of 8. Everyone loved their food. The continental breakfast has a huge selection and the cooked breakfast is enough to feed two people. The dinner was superb ! Everyone’s meals, from entrees, mains and desserts were beautiful. My steak was honestly the best steak I’ve ever had in a restaurant! It was melt in you mouth tender. The pork belly was divine and the creme brûlée was fabulous. The staff were absolutely amazing and very attentive. We would all highly recommend this restaurant.

Staying at the Remington for a week and on the first night I dined at the restaurant and was very glad I did. It’s a lovely room, service is very good and the meal was excellent. I had Oysters Kirkpatrick, the best I’ve ever had; and then the eye fillet, tender and cooked perfectly, a quality piece of meat. A single malt whisky to start and a glass of Shiraz with the meal. This is a very good restaurant.

My partner and I had a very rare date night at the Remington. It was amazing! I had crocodile for the first time and it was beautiful! The lamb was divine, every mouthful had different elements that were all stunning. The sticky date and creme Brulee desserts were perfect. The best sticky date I have ever eaten! The staff were onto everything, our water was topped up constantly and Maria was able to advise us honestly on the dishes and made sure everything was perfect, she was so friendly and helpful throughout our entire meal.

Stayed 3 nights at the Remington, and decided to eat at the inhouse restaurant.
I had 2 evening meals, 2 x breakfasts and two lunches.
Evening Meals:
The first meal was the Eye fillet Main and Scallops entre. The entre was over cooked and rubbery. The Eye fillet was supposed to be medium rare, but was well done. The Shiraz I had was $16 a glass and horrible
Given the time taken to prepare the meals and bring it out I did not make comment, as I did not want to wait for the possible recook.
Second time was room service - Ordered the Duck. This was a mind blowing experience where it was clearly frozen, defrosted and recooked OR already cooked and reheated within an inch of its life. So tough I was unable to eat it. How do you make a comment about a room service meal?
Breakfast:
The Breakfast Bruschetta (in this case it was pumpkin, fetta, dukkha and two poached eggs). Normally a bruschetta is made with Ciabatta bread, however this was on top of a black muffin. Large sliced grilled pumpkin. The bacon pieces were charcoaled and the flavour of the meal was all over the place. It felt like and looked like artisan food with hit and miss flavours.
The restaurant could be a whole lot better with some simple tweeks and attention. I stayed here for 3 nights and cancelled my booking for the final night as I was not confident in the expectations of what I might get. Whilst what was presented was reasonable, for the price I would expect greater attention to the detail.

My wife and I looked forward to a special Dinner after a 9 hour journey.
We were greatly disappointed.
I ordered 6 Sydney Rock Oysters ($4 each).
They were the smallest I have ever seen.
I complained to a staff member and was given “short shift” with a comment “well Muswellbrook is not by the sea”.
What happened to the adage “the customer is right“?
We had to pour our wine and my wife ordered bread with her entree which was delivered after the entree was eaten.
I had been to the Restaurant 5 years ago and could not believe the decline in customer service standard.

Loved the food, the setting and the service. Oh and GREAT coffee. Lovely outside section to eat breakfast or dinner or enjoy a cocktail.
I had the salmon and it was delicious. Hubby the chicken, also delicious. Ordered steamed veggies which were lovely and fresh and cooked to perfection.
Air conditioning, classy, great crockery, friendly efficient service. Best place around definitely.

I discovered this place by accident, and what an unexpected gem it is. In fact, it was so good that I changed my return trip to stay here rather than my original destination. I could not fault the food or service at both dinner or breakfast. Everything was done with a smile and nothing was too much trouble. The meals were first class, the wine list good, and the seating options excellent. I have NO issue with pouring my own wine, unlike another reviewer, as I prefer to set my own pace. I will certainly be returning here whenever possible as places of this quality in the country are very rare indeed. Take a bow, management and staff....

Breakfast here a couple of times, and dinner once. All meals were served well; good presentation.
For dinner we had crispy skin salmon, and beef fillet. Two dishes which could easy be cooked poorly, but they were perfect!!
If you’re close, or staying at The Remington, this is a great restaurant to visit.

The food was delicious. Great cocktails as well. Vegetarian and fish options on menu. Quite a few choices for entree, main and desert, without the menu being crowded. Can highly recommend the lamb and fettuccini. Dining room is a bit crowded, but the setting is lovely and very sumptuous. Prices are pretty reasonable, especially as everything is so nice.

We stayed in the motel which is excellent and ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Food was great and the staff are wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Excellent service. Compliments to management and the whole team.

Yummy Waffles and Bacon and Eggs were our breakfasts and we both enjoyed. . Good Capachino too! We would have had dinner there too only closed on Sundays..

Amazing quality food and great service! Compliments to the chef! The atmosphere in the restaurant was really cosy and elegant. Staff were friendly and available making it a wonderful experience! We recommend this restaurant to everyone who comes to Muswellbrook.

This is the best restaurant in town. Fresh, interesting dishes and a nice selection of wines. The sticky date pudding is the required dessert. Definitely worth a visit!

We have such a great night dining at The Remington! Food was fantastic, staff helpful and friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. The restaurant's decor and music invites relaxed conversation whilst enjoying our meal and their amazing wine selection.
