Waiting for my car to be serviced I wanted a cafe with shaded outdoor seating where I could enjoy a cuppa and then lunch. This fit the criteria as there are eight outdoor tables with umbrellas in addition to a spacious indoor dining area. The...salt and pepper squid was tender, generously proportioned, delicious and came with a healthy slaw. I would have preferred not to have the mayo on top of the calamari, and didn’t expect it. I suspected ect that it was more about presentation than flavour. Will return.More

What a little hole in the wall!!! Staff were super friendly and the drinks service was less than 5 minutes even though the Cafe was full of customers. The mural kept the family entertained whilst waiting for our food and we really can't say anything...bad about the place. Will be coming back on our way through again and would highly recommend to fellow travellers and families.More

Great casual atmosphere indoor and outdoor options. Superb customer service. Food (recommend calamari) and drinks all terrific. Location in centre of town and car parking at rear. I was visiting my cousin and she recommended The Bank Cafe and it turned out to be the...perfect spot for us to catch up. This cafe is no longer accepting cash with the lame excuse that their bank moved further down the road and it's too far for their staff to go for change! No more cash - no more business from us

Fabulous coffee although not quite hot enough. Friendly service with inside and outside options Lucky they are open as soo many ships closed due to recent floods.

There yesterday, very friendly and fair service…. Food was great but as it’s during a COVID epidemic I was shocked at the spit and polish of the tables between customers and one waitress had her mask holding up her chin or letting her nose dribble...onto it…but coughing into her hand and serving people…no hand washing! This went on for the entire hour we were there… Unimpressed…health dept review needed on staff hygiene….More

Lunch ,midweek table for 2 ,no problem. Both of us ordered the salt and pepper squid, both of us absolutely agree that it was fabulous. Big serves, delicious salad and melt in your mouth calamari. Fresh squeeze oj and a stunning coffee ( had to...buy the beans). Efficient, engaging service. Great lunch in a fantastic building.More

Basically, a lot of effort for not much of a result, kind of like a big party with no guests and different kinds of music playing loudly at the same time...confusion on a plate. We ordered the Byron Bay burger and Cauliflower Karrage...there was so...much going on on the plates but not integrated meals, and flavours not balanced. Burger was sparse for salad with one slice of tomato, one leaf of lettuce, and some pickled onion, the patty has one flavour of salty smoke. The cauliflower was saturated in soy sauce and no other flavour. The best thing on the plates were the sauces and the one little sweet potato patty where there was a nice flavour and it was balanced. Food and service top notch👌 coffee was delicious and served fast. The buffalo chicken burger was was really good , perfect amount of spice with a yummy slaw to take some of the heat away. The falafel bowl looked and tasted amazing. Would highly recommend...this cafe.More

We were greeted immediately on entering, and found very comfortable seats (hint - if you prefer padded chairs to wooden seats, head for the middle row of tables). The food was delicious - fried eggs, mushrooms on sourdough with spinach for me, an orange and...poppy-seed muffin for Herself - with coffee to match. There were more baby mushrooms on my plate that I've seen in one place (except supermarkets, of course), and my mocha was intriguingly chocolate-intense. Service was quick, efficient and cheerful.
