Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Ordered 2 flower pot scones and one looked like it had been dropped and put back in the pot. Very bland and doughy and the jam was watered down and runny - very disappointing

We stopped at Leura on our way from the central coast home to Merriganowry, and chose The Wayzgoose Diner as our lunch spot. So delighted that we did...lovely, friendly staff greeted us and took our order; the atmosphere was snug, welcoming and cozy on a...cold Winter's day, and the food, when it arrived (very quickly, I must add) was sublime...my smoked salmon Turkish toastie was delicious! We will most definitely be making a stop at the Wayzgoose a must on our future trips through the Mountains.More

We ordered very simply however waited an hour for our food for it then to be cold. Ham and cheese toastie with no tomato please” seeds and skin of tomato still on sandwich as obviously pre made and pulled out…. Not very well.

Ate here on Easter Saturday - my friend is vegetarian and I am vegan and had quite a few options. Delicious food. Cute decor. Good coffee and well priced. Perfect place for a Saturday morning breaky / brunch

This awesome cafe is centrally located in Leura. Covid safe with staff checking that customers all check in. We had a bacon and egg roll and the corn fritters. Food was delicious and came out very quickly. Great coffee too. There are also things for...sale like crisps and hot chocolate mix.More

Went in for coffee and small meal. Waitress was in a really bad mood. We had a great weekend and this cafe was not a good ending. We asked a question regarding item on the menu and was told “ I don’t know, I don’t...remember the menu!” Other great cafes around with great service.More

We had a nice lunch today. I enjoyed my Veg Korma! The staff were friendly and on top of all to COVID things. Nicely reassuring! YMMV

What a great place to come to for lunch! We were greeted by friendly, helpful staff and were impressed with the charming decor. The burger was juicy and delicious, and my scrambled eggs were the best I've ever had. I have heard about the specialty...flowerpot scones and I can't wait to try them next time.More

The staff are warm and welcoming the...coffee and food are all good. Highly recommend the flowerpot sconne and corn fritters.More

A pleasingly average place for breakfast with large menu. Servings were plain and food was out before drinks.

We had lunch at the Wayzgoose Diner with family and all really enjoyed the delicious food and drink! I especially enjoyed the blood orange mineral drink and my kids loved the organic lemonade drink. Highly recommend this lovely cafe in the heart of Leura!
