From the outside this restaurant is not the most appealing. On entering it was empty which is always a worry in a restaurant. However...... This was a fabulous meal, cooked to order but it was served quickly and was delicious beyond words. The food has to be tasted to be believed, really the chef is amazing. The restaurant is BYO... The only place we want our Indian food from. Best butter chicken and garlic naan we have found. The samosas are delicious and very generous.

Very nice and very tasty dinner. Service was fast with a half full restaurant. We could not fault the food or service but I suggest you make a reservation in advance.

We got a takeaway from Anki's. It was delicious. We had to wait a while as there was only one chef but it was worth it.

Every year its a enjoyable tradition to dine in at Ankies. The aroma outside allures you in and you are not dissappointed with the friendly staff and amazingly delicious mouth watering curries. Perfect for Gluten free options. Yummy Naan bread and smooith mango lassi. Went twice this week and we are never dissappointed.

I hate giving bad reviews- it means I have chosen badly. To be positive the naans were good. O ordered a chicken korma- whatever it was it was not chicken , or at least the type of chickens I have tried. Hopefully this was a bad day

We read the reviews before coming here and in my experience those calling the manager rude were unfair, we found her polite and welcoming, if not effusive. The reviews raving about the food however, were spot on. After a mild curry in Sydney I ventured for a vindaloo and it was beautiful. The naan was the best I've had in... More

Do yourself a favor and find another restaurant! Firstly ignored when we arrived for several minutes! Every table not occupied (and there were many) hadn't been cleared...obviously short staffed! We waited ages for wine glasses! Then asked for a wine bucket to be told they don't have one, then we asked for ice to be told nope no ice at... More
