Not a great range of food. They focus on coffee - except for their cinnamon scrolls/croissants. They are giant size and absolutely delicious - ask them to serve them warm, although this spoils the visual effect!
Coffee is what they do extremely well - have been here a few times, had at least three different baristas but quality is consistent. No easy achievement.

Wonderful place to have a coffee. There aren't many food choices, but what is available is very tasty. The cafe is on the road to the Three Sisters Lookout and a convenient stop for a coffee and treat. Across the road is the Lost Bear Gallery - which is well worth a visit.

The best coffee! All the local Mums come here before school, so seating is at a premium if you are there around 7 - 9a.m. and you really will appreciate sitting inside!

We bought two large take away flat whites after reading the good reviews. What a disappointment!! They didn’t seem to even have a single shot of coffee in them & tasted bland & milky. The coffee we had in Leura the day before was so much better! Admittedly it was a Sunday so maybe the regular barista was having a day off but the young woman who made these really got it wrong. We won’t be back.

Coffee is ok but the staff aren’t the most friendly. The last 3 times I’ve been in for a takeaway the only word I got was Yes? I ordered and the lady just carried on chatting and laughing with the other women behind the counter. When the coffee was ready it was just pushed towards me without a word spoken, probably because they were too wrapped up in each other.
Just a ‘good morning’ or a ‘here you are thank you’ would have been nice.
There were 4 staff and one other customer in there.
I don’t think I’ll try for a fourth time, when there are a lot more friendly cafes around.

After reading lots of good reviews this really looked like the place to go. I am sorry but this was our experience. Yes its in a very old building but that doesnt deter us. The interior was totally uninviting. Nothing to welcome us not even a smile. Normally we love quirky but this was not quirky good. I am willing to overlook all that for great coffee however the strong flat whites were thin and bitter. No smoothness and no richness. Possible the worst coffe in a week.

This is really a coffee shop that serves limited light food such as toast and a few pastries. So don't get there expecting the full breakfast / brunch experience. Coffee is good.

No need for fancy decor when you have the gorgeous coffee served here! It’s minimalist in style aka trendy and you can tell all their time has been well spent producing high quality coffee and food. I had a soy latte and avo on toast, both super yummy!

This review is just based on their coffee (didn't try the food) - after 2 disappointing experiences on the main street in Katoomba, it was a pleasant surprise to find this place on our walk back from the Three Sisters. Coffee was quite good, service was efficient.

It has been noted by myself and my work colleagues that the quality of the coffee has deteriorated over the last few months. Few of us continue to go to Casseopia for coffee any more. There is to much quality competition in this town

A quick search on Google map for 'coffee nearby' brought up this little spot, and we're happy to have discovered it. Just a short stroll from the main street of Katoomba, this suburban coffee spot is quaint, cosy and has GREAT COFFEE! Great price too. We had to go back for a second cup!
