We visited Katoomba for a special family event and we made the right choice with Pins at Lurline for dinner. We had a large group with varied dietary requirements and teenage children. Nothing was too much trouble and we were so well looked after. Every...interaction with the staff was positive and pleasant from the moment we walked in the door. The food was incredible and everyone enjoyed their meal, we were so grateful for this wonderful evening, thank you much!More

Four of us ate here on 11/3 and had a fantastic meal. This chef/owner is good!! Front of house staff were friendly, informed, and professional. Wines recommended we’re perfect, and the meal simply delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant, an unpretentious gem.

We go to Lilianfels in Katoomba for our anniversary every year from wherever in the world we are at the time, 28/5, and so we have just about dined at every possible restaurant the town has to offer but this year we chose Pins on...Lurline. We chose the 5:30 two hour sitting (as it is quite dark and cold by then) and were greeted by a locked door and "closed" sign. We were 5 minutes early! Once inside we were assigned one waitress for the night and the chef served each meal in person. The level of service by the friendly down to earth staff could not have been better!.........and the food (we chose was the six course tasting) was superb in every way! It was complimented by the extensive wine selection and homely, intimate atmosphere. Definitely the restaurant to go to next year!More

My Sunday birthday lunch was a real pleasure. The 6 course tasting menu - delicious and interesting. Great, reasonably priced wine list with more interesting selections - though the slippery plastic sleeves could be improved! A wonderful warm room reminiscent of French country bistros. Service...- so professional and natural. Thank you for this rare gem in the Mountains - at last a wonderful restaurant we will look forward to returning to soon.More

Was in a head on collision and called the restaurant to cancel my booking hours in advance since I was in the emergency department and almost died and they still refused to refund me the deposit. Business owners need to show humanity. I’m appalled at...how such a highly rated restaurant could treat people so poorly.More

Fine dining and a great wine selection to compliment the flavours. 6 dishes all beautifully presented a treat for the eyes and tastebuds. Friendly owners/chef, informative on both food and wines- local and international. Regularly changing men. A special treat! Absolutely loved the beef cheeks.

We were looking for somewhere local to use our Dine n discover vouchers and had not been here for a few years - thought why not- Gladys can shout matched wines ! Blown away - amazing menu - had the 6 dish tasting in standard...( me) and vegetarian coeliac ( husband). Both were outstanding and complemented by a great young chef who came to check we were happy and gather feedback as my husband’s apple and coconut ice cream was a new addition to the menu. Highly recommended, particularly for a week day treat for locals when they are not so pressed for table space and you can meander ( and savour) your way through each course.More

We chose an 8.15pm sitting not realizing it is a set degustation menu. What a joy. No having to choose food, plenty of it and each course a sheer taste delight. The staff were fabulous and the manager/owner? was the best photographer and so obliging....Interacted with his clients so well whilst being unobstusive. We were celebrating our 44th wedding anniversary. The chef presenting us with a lovely "happy anniversary" written in chocolate and some gorgeous delights on a plate was the icing on the cake. The lovely old house is beautiful and everyone took a pride in their job. Thank you . My friends are all wanting to visit now.More

We had a very special dinner for my birthday. (A surprise to me!) The staff were professional and friendly - very welcoming, but not imposing. The food was sensational with a range of delicate flavours beautifully presented.

Hi Danielle C, we do have meal options for children. Spaghetti bolognese, chicken nuggets and chips and tempura fisg and chips. We also have high chairs and colouring pencils to keep kids amused. Many thanks Pins on Lurline
