Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent meal - 6 course tasting menu for one Vege and one Meat Eater with paired wines for each course. Both of use enjoyed immensely. Of note was the mystery chefs' selection snack which we seem to recall was Oyster mushroom custard - sounds weird...but was delicious. Hopefully our memory of the item is incorrect. Wine pairings all worked well. Will return.More

Reminiscent of times past, we enjoyed a sensational 10 course degustation dinner, complete with wine pairing. An amazing experience, in a fully restored 100 year old home completely surrounded by an established garden in swirling mist. Very ambient and delicious.

We celebrated News Years Eve and had the fabulous 10 tasting course selection. Chef Adam and hostess Jody gave us a memorable night with incredible flavours The hardworking staff were all charming even though it was their busiest night . My favourite the Seared scallops...in wakami cream sauce and pickled ginger .More

This was our third visit to Pins on Lurline while we stayed for a few days in Katoomba. Pins operates a tasting menu with several set courses. The portions are not large and more of a fine dining experience but diners will find themselves suitably...full nonetheless. We opted for the six course menu which covered a mystery chefs' selection snack, scallops, pork belly, another red meat dish and some sweet dishes being the set custard/fruit granita/frsh berries and lime sherbet finishing off with the Pins Sticky Date Pudding with butterscotch sauce and vanilla bean ice cream. The courses are paced so as not to leve the diner feeling overrun. Service is friendly and efficient and Pins has a nice vibe. Dinner is not cheap with the preset pricing at the $90 pp for the six course tasting but that is fully disclosed.More

Had a lovely evening here. From start to finish! Great food, very friendly staff & lovely setting. Couldn’t have wished for more. Had the 6 course tasting menu with matching wines. My husband had the pescatarian option. The whole atmosphere was great. Would recommend this...to everyone. Have been to over 40 restaurants during our trip & this one would definitely be in our top 4!More

Wow! We were going to have the 6 courses but decided on the 10 courses once there and viewed that nights menu. It was delicious. Each course came out in a timely manner and was presented perfectly and the flavors were delicious. We left with...very full tummy’s but would highly recommend going there for dinner. Even the staff were friendly and talkative during the night.More

I was staying in Leura for the weekend and had dinner with 3 friends at Pins and we loved the whole dining experience. We had the 6 course Tasting Menu and every course was delicious….lovely flavours, beautifully presented and plentiful servings. The staff were very...friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. They even presented us with petit fours and a lighted candle at the end as we were celebrating a birthday. The Tasting Menu was very reasonably priced compared to Sydney prices. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be back!More

Good service. Very disappointed with the food. Flavours and dishes were a mis match. Bread from woolies, sticky date bought in from ?woolies and used produce not in season.

We had a fabulous evening at Pins on Lurline. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and handled my nut allergy with ease. We had the tasting menu and wine flight and both were delicious. The pace of the meal was perfect and we enjoyed learning...more about each wine. We were made to feel very welcome. It was an excellent way to finish our time in the Blue Mountains.More

What an amazing spot , set beautifully and manned by amazingly attentive, friendly staff . Seriously let down by below average food - some dishes were way to salty and flavours were all over the place.

Supposed to be an elegant place in Blue Mountains with delicate food and atmosphere. The whole experience was ruined by agressive ongoing noise in the whole dining area provided by a group of 16 barking guests. Why such a premium positioning restaurant would accommodate group...tour profile? The food was good, playing it creative with qualitative ingredients over 6 courses menu. However, why having 2 red meat courses (kangaroo & lamb)? Service was efficient, but unable to manage the messy atmosphere nor anticipate or apologise in time for the obvious inconvenience to the other 7 individual tables.More

we had the 6 course menu, and whilst the food was tasty, it was nothing out of the box. We were the 1st sitting and the serving of each course was very rushed. You barely had time to finish one course, before the next arrived....The meals were presented well but not consistent,eg some in our party had carrots in one course, whilst others didn't The waiters seemed very rushed even though the venue was by no means full.More

Our party of 15 celebrated my parents 60th Wedding Anniversary at Pins on Lurline and it was wonderful in every way. We had the 6 course tasting menu including 3 in our group having different dietary requirements which were perfectly accommodated. Our group ranged in...ages from 14 to 85 and everyone loved the food and those who had the matched wines also enjoyed that. The service was warm, attentive and could not be faulted in any way. This was a fantastic place to hold our family celebration. Thank you to the whole team for making it such a perfect evening, right down to our host taking lots photos for us to remember the occasion.More

Perfect in every way. Though it operates with a set menu, my preferences were easily accommodated. Each course was impressive. Wine matching right on the money. I got to try some wines I would not even consider if ordering a bottle myself. Great service -...professional yet friendly. Lovely decor. Reasonable pricing. The zucchini flowers, salmon and chickpea dishes were real standouts and the desserts superb. Will happily return soon. What a find!More

Hi Danielle C, we do have meal options for children. Spaghetti bolognese, chicken nuggets and chips and tempura fisg and chips. We also have high chairs and colouring pencils to keep kids amused. Many thanks Pins on Lurline
