We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at this Japanese restaurant. The share entree plates were just amazing. Loved the trout sushi roll, the sashimi , edamame and fried chicken. Little disappointed with choice of mains but will definitely go back...next year !More

The food was amazing and authentic, staff and service was warm and friendly. Had a wonderful time, cocktail and wine selection was also brilliant.

With not many food options around the area, we decided to give this place a try. The staff seemed angry to work there and did not seem friendly. We ordered dishes to share and they were not particularly large servings. The dishes were overpriced and...did not stand out as exceptionally tasty. The best was the ramen. It was tasty - egg came in extra at $2 each. The overall experience was not what we expected for such high prices but maybe that is something that one may just need to expect when dining in this area.More

Exceptional service .. we had a booking for 830pm and got a call from the restaurant around 730 advising that our table was ready if we wanted to come down earlier .. the meal was top notch .. the snowy trout and JFC were our...favourites .. highly recommend and will definitely be back soon !!More

We decided on share plates which most do. We started with edamame beans ($6) which were the best we've ever had. Lovely and warm with just the correct amount of salt, the serving was very big and plenty for the 2 of us. We then...had the salmon sushi which was good, but the smoked trout sushi was the standout dish of the evening. Then came the scallops which were served just warm, but at $14 for 4 very small scallops, were rather expensive and gone with 2 bites. Lastly the pork gyoza which were very good. We were still hungry so decided on 2 more dishes, the large plate of squid which was excellent and very filling! We had ordered the yama corn balls at the same time as the squid, but in hindsight we didn't need them. But we polished them off and they were delicious. Along with 1 non alcoholic beer the bill came to $88 which was worth every penny. Highly recommended for the food and service. I only took photos mostly after we had started eating so not looking the best!More

Last minute choice to head here for dinner and was a good one. Staff were friendly on arrival and efficient throughout. Super quick with the food which is as of a very good standard. Well priced and a pleasant atmosphere. Gyoza & fried chicken were...excellent as were the side of stir fried veggies. Great house sake also!More

Order the calamari, to die for... melt in your mouth with spicy chili mayo, delish. Fantastic extensive cocktail menu, yummy hot sake (my fave). Ordered a heap of share plates, none disappointed and the service was friendly and welcoming. We'll be back guys, thanks.

All the dishes we ate were very good to excellent. We just kept ordering bits and pieces from the entree menu to get a good range of taste and texture. A well stocked bar and cocktails are available. I recommend the Mountain Lychee cocktail. A...busy place but lots of friendly staff on hand. Shout out to Dallas for being so diligent with her covid safety awareness. Had dinner with friends. Service and staff were excellent. Our orders were taken quickly and the food and drinks arrived in perfect time. The atmosphere was boisterous, as the restaurant was full. Our meals were tremendous, my wife loved her Lychee cocktail. I particularly liked...the scallop entrée and the beef main . My only complaint is that when I tried to book 2 nights later, I couldn't get in.More

We got takeaway so I would assume the eat in would be better. Although I didn’t enjoy it and it was full of flavour it’s pretty $$$ for a plastic container takeaway … the squid was delicious so was the chicken …

A great experience every time we eat here!! Food is amazing! Very authentic and always fresh!! Service is always faultless. Brilliant bar and cocktails a bonus. Highly recommend!!!
