Staff and Food 10/10

Food was amazing, we got a selection of share plates and dumplings for the two of us. There was plenty of food we struggled to eat it all, and every bit of it was amazing. The Korean fried chicken wings were our favourite, but everything...we chose was great. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. 10/10More

These guys don’t Monkey around!

I almost don’t want everyone to know how great this little gem is, because I selfishly don’t want it to get so busy we can’t get in! Finally, a good Asian restaurant has arrived in Forster! These guys are serving great quality, well executed Asian...fusion in a lovely little lake side location. We were a little nervous to try the sushi & sashimi, as we are huge Japanese food fans & have eaten in very high end restaurants. This could go horribly wrong when in the wrong hands! But alas! It was surprising really good! All our meals were a big hit. A great evening was had by all! Our waiter was hilarious too & made the night all the more surprising! We will definitely be back on our next visit to the area. It’s quite obvious, these guys really do give a Monkey’s!More

Superb in every way way !

Sensational Asian Fusion Food!

We had dinner here on our first day in Forster and to say that my husband and I were blown away is an understatement. There’s good food everywhere but this is SENSATIONAL food! We ordered the Kingfish sashimi, Ko Phan Ban, Duck wonton stack, and...the Thai Coconut Dumplings. All of them were amazing though my personal favourite was the kingfish sashimi. My husband doesn’t really like sashimi but he kept on raving about it. That alone was a feat! The staff were very friendly and gave great recommendations. They definitey added to the wonderful experience. Do yourself a favour and book ASAP! Highly recommended!More

A wonderful experience

We’ve dined at a number of Asian inspired properties and the Spice Monkey does not disappoint. A midweek dine in at short notice, we were still able to get a table. The staff were very attentive and their advice on meal options was appreciated. We...ordered far too much and we’re able to take some home for the next day. We travel to Foster regularly and will definitely visit Spice Monkey again.More

Dinner

We really enjoyed this little gem whilst visiting Forster. We had tempura prawns, spring rolls and pork belly and crab fried rice. So many great menu options. I cannot wait to return to try more...the service was great. Wasnt a lover of the wine list...maybe...some Hunter Valley wines would be nicer but a very small criticism. Overall fantastic fresh food with perfect service.More

Happy Hour

Great venue, amazing views, you can admire the water views sitting outside or sitting indoors. Nice and casual, sit back with a glass of red listening to live music, how relaxing. Friendly staff, you don’t feel rushed. Tasty Food/dishes. Recommend.

Best restaurant in Forster

First and most important, the food quality was top class. A great selection of asian dishes to choose from, there's something for everyone. Next, the service was first class - the staff were efficient, friendly and couldn't do enough to make our experience an enjoyable...one. Location was great, with views across Wallis Lake, and parking in memorial Drive was easy. All-in-all, a wonderful way to spend a Saturday lunch with family.More

Another Amazing Lunch

As regular customers we decided on an early mothers day lunch and again we were not disappointed . The food was brilliant and the Kingfish Sashimi an absolute delight, the staff as usual attentive and helpful. This venue is the best in the area
