I have visited this restaurant a couple of times before and had some reservations. I noticed the menu had changed and wanted to give it another go. It was a good thing I did as I will definitely be returning. The menu is much more interesting and the did I sampled very much to be praised. The pasta menu is extensive in sauces, although only three types of pasta available (excluding the lasagna) but this is a small matter indeed. The ingredients of the sauces were almost universally appealing, so much so that I ended up going for a pizza (also a good range). My pizza was tasty and the base quite good. The only lack would be that the centre of the base got slightly wet from the ingredients. Still yummy but a bit difficult to pick up. The staff were exceptional, patient and attentive, responding to all requests we made without fuss. If you don't mind a little heat in your food the Pane Diavolo is A MUST. My only concern is that on my next visit they have enough Birra Moretti for me. Just enough last night. Bravi tutti!!

5 out of 5 stars Blown away by the authentic Italian cuisine.not even in Sydney do we experience such awesome food and service. Each and every dish was a standout The fried calamari, pesce snapper,calzone Nutella And affogato with frangelico.all a knockout This is the go to place to dine in Forster

Nice enough pizza

The pizza was nice, but I think when you’re going to charge that much for pizzas, don’t rip people off and give them processed chicken. It’s disgusting. It’s a shame as the chicken veg pizza would have been awesome if real chicken was on it.

My friend and I got the most amazing and authentic food. The customer service in this family restaurant was great and the Gentleman who runs it was delightful and so welcoming. He made you feel welcome and at home with his family. I highly recommend the caramelised onion bread it was one of the greatest foods I have had!

Unfortunately our experience here was not great. We arrived for our booking the table was not clear or set. We placed our orders when the entrees arrived dishes were not as ordered when we pointed this out to the waiter he did not want to believe he had made a mistake and questioned us twice about our order. We know what we ordered i think it might be time to write down orders and not try and remember them! The food was good but certainly not great! Service was average. Time to invest in a note pad and pen.

Authentic Italian and the most amazing staff and service!!!

We stumbled across this lovely restaurant after meeting one of the owners at a cafe just around the corner. We were looking to have a hearty delicious meal on a Saturday night after sailing all day and nothing could’ve come better than Bella Bellísimo! We honestly waited ALL DAY to see if we could get a reservation and even saved our appetite :) We were not disappointed :) This place reminds me of the many hosterias I’ve been to in Italy only with one very important difference...the owner and staff. Thank you for making our last night in Forster so yummy and memorable. We will be back soon with the whole family! Thank you!

We had dinner at this restaurant by the water with lovely ambiance and a great view. Customer service was excellent, food was delicious and highly recommend the devils bread, calamari and Angus steak and the servings are very generous!! Finished with a honeycomb affogatto which tasted amazing. If your looking for a great meal in Forster do yourself a favour and make a booking at Bella.

Recently had dinner at this restaurant. Many positives. Food was really tasty and cooked fresh. Convenient location in Forsters main strip. Staff are very pleasant. Unfortunately the customer service is lacking. Meals arrive late, orders are forgotten. It wouldn’t take much to improve these things.... eg write orders down. This could be a really nice restaurant to visit.

Family birthday party

Staff were very pleasant, attentive and provided a lovely atmosphere with the presentation of the birthday cake by dimming the lights and singing " Happy Birthday". The food was delicious and nicely presented. We all had a lovely night especially the birthday girl. Thank you Bella Belissimo

Thanks to Covid19 did not get to enjoy going to the restaurant, but did enjoy the food.

Unfortunately because of the restrictions we had to get delivery take away from the Bella Bellissimo. We enjoyed the Lasagna and the Pollo Al Funghi. Unfortunately the Lasagna was not particularly hot. But then again being a restaurant that does not usually cater for home delivery I wasn’t particularly surprised. However hot or not the food had amazing flavour. I simply can’t wait until the restrictions are lifted and I can enjoy a meal on site at the restaurant.

If I could only eat at one place in this area forever it would be here... I love how they look after our family and the food is SO delicious. Our family with allergies eats here confidently and always with a smile on our face of such a fun experience. Thanks for looking after us for 7 years, best people and service! :)

Superb food and friendly service!

We stumbled upon this lovely restaurant and were definitely delighted. A lovely young man greeted us and to us to our table…the night just got better from there. The service was perfect and the pizza was delightful, Super tasty, beautifully presented - couldn’t have asked for more and would definitely highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back when we are next staying in Forster!

Despite the friendly service, dissapointing

It is of course, more challenging to serve a party of tenor more. But my salmon was over cooked. Others were dissapointed with the meagre amount of vongole and shellfish in a linguini special. Always prepared to make allowances for family run restaurants, but when you get it wrong, own it. There was no offer to adjust the bill... even though prices were comparable to Sydney restaurants I had eaten in the week before. Not somewhere I could recommend.

Back again

It's been 2 years since we've been back to the area from Sydney but we had to seek out whether we could still get back to this restaurant. We were pleased it was still around - and open - and we spent a very cold night there near their warm fireplace eating pizza and pasta. Still a great place to eat and will definately be back again if we ever drive up from Sydney again. Definately recommend for great, fresh Italian food.

Service & Food Left A LOT To Be Desired. Better Options Elsewhere!

Felt excited when we arrived, unfortunately left feeling disappointed. Service was quite poor, we were the only table without handkerchiefs and salt/pepper. Didn't get asked how the meal was, didn't get offered parmesan with the pasta, or another drink, sat waiting for a while before we could ask for the bill. Just seemed very...low effort. Starter was lovely, despite taking 40 minutes to arrive, it did taste nice. The "Devil's Bread" was actually yummy. The mains that followed however were quite poor. Fettuccine Carbonara was like soup. Lots of creamy liquid, LOTS. The pasta was genuinely swimming. I could've drank it right out of the bowl. They also "ran out of tiramisu" which gives off the impression that it isn't freshly made, and is instead bought in. And with $120 for a 2 course meal and some drinks, you'd really expect it to be fresh. They also added on a service charge without asking, which for poor service is very cheeky. Wouldn't really recommend this restaurant to residents or passers-by. Forster is a town full of restaurants and you can definitely find better elsewhere.
