Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent breakfast. Bacon and Eggs on toast cooked to perfection and my wife said the pancakes with fresh berries was fantastic. The coffee was the best I had been served in a week of travelling around inland NSW, roasted in Orange. The service was great...from the friendly smiling staff.More

Great little cafe on the hill in Cowra. I went by myself while my husband was on a zoom meeting in our hotel. I just wanted something healthy and to sit and read the news. I had the muesli and a coffee. It wasn’t packed,...fantastic food and coffee. Highly recommended!More

It is the variety in the menu that first attracted my partner and I to this little cafe. We were surprised by the quality of food and the tasty selections. When you travel you feel like finding something different on the menu that you know...will be delicious. And this is where the Breakout Brasserie excels. Highly recommended.More

The protein pancakes were delicious, perhaps the best breakfast pancakes I have had in a cafe. Good coffee. Generous portions, reasonable priced. Great atmosphere too.

We usually trek to Young for somewhere to eat but decided this week to book a table and stay in Cowra. We arrived on time and the cafe was full both inside and out. Upon advising we had booked an inside table we found although...it had our name on it, it had been given to someone else. Instead of making them move we had to sit outside in the cold. Whilst ordering an inside table became free so we moved inside. Our food took a while but it was so busy we didn’t mind. Our food was very nice, although hubby wanted to change something on his and was told he couldn’t. His pot of tea was nice and strong but my coffee either had syrup in it or was made on skim as it was too sweet. We understand it was very busy but we’re a little disappointed from the get go.More

Well this coffee was the best we have had west of the range. The young barista sure knows what she is doing Pity about the older lady with the bad attitude

I had Eggs Benedict today, and it was prepared to perfection. Best Eggs Benedict I've had. Sauce was perfect, eggs cooked brilliantly and the salmon was tops.

Luckily the younger blond waitress was super friendly as the slightly older waitress made us feel like we were an inconvenience from the moment I ordered - no smile or anything. Food was nice enough, came out very fast and no complaints there. Maybe she...just had an off day but a smile isn't hard to make customers feel welcome.More

I was recommended this cafe from a local. I turned up early, one morning, for brekkie. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and a large mug of cappuccino. The cap came first and was amazing. So much so that I told the staff I couldn’t remember...the time I had a better coffee (which was true). The Eggs Benedict arrived shortly after and complimented the coffee by being absolutely delicious. The staff were your typical country folk- with a warm and friendly greeting. Just the ticket to get you started in the morning. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place.More

We stayed in Cowra overnight & looked for somewhere for Breakfast. With the already good reviews we decided to try the Breakout Brasserie. Although they were busy, they were accommodating with a seat after a short wait. Service was very friendly & attentive. I had...the bacon, egg & chorizo breaky. Very Very tasty. Coffee didn't disappoint.. This is definitely somewhere I would eat again when staying in town.More

Yes there is as mentioned above. I was there in July and saw plenty of dogs allowed in the gardens so for recent information dogs appear to be allowed on leads.

Hi - apologies did not see your question... No - we were disappointed last time we visited as they weren't open on Sunday. In fact it was slim pickings in Cowra on a Sunday!
