The Hotel is Dandenong's longest standing hotel in the area. Built in 1891, some of the original works are still present. Albion Hotel caters for all tastes and occasions. The Hotel has been recently renovated to offer our patrons the best entertainment and dinning experience. We have extended the bistro area to cater for bigger groups, seniors, families and locals. The menu has been completely revamped with great options for lunch and dinner. Our venue prides itself on its customer service, our motto is - "if we don't know your name, we want to". Stopped for a meal before a gig and was pleasantly surprised. The food was really good, seafood was fresh and well cooked. Classic good pub burger.
The staff were very friendly from security to bar staff and this added to a great atmosphere.

Close friends birthday party, hired the outdoor event space. Honestly there’s no need to be so abrupt and passive aggressive towards patrons, can completely understand staff get flustered if it’s busy but when your team is providing us the wrong information it’s clearly not our fault, we were told to go from one bar to another for cocktails, waiting patiently only to be sneered off. Bar staff should learn how to cool it, as their attitude comes off poorly.

This is a gem of a hotel. Cheap cold beers. Delicious meals with great menu. Pub favourites plus more. Slides for entree are so yummy. Atmosphere is new, with background music. We come here every time we are in Dandenong.

We went to Albion Hotel for the meal on 3rd September.
We ordered the spaghetti marinara. When the meal arrived, we find that there are empty three mussel shell. We thought the it may came out to the spaghetti. However, there was nothing in the spaghetti. We asked the male waiter, he claimed that the mussels are stir fry in the spaghetti. I asked him to find it but he can't find the mussels as well. I asked him to take the meal back to kitchen and check with the chef. He brought back the spaghetti marinara and said the chef will cook another mussels and give back to us.
When they took the mussels back again, it was look like the attached photo which is unacceptable. No one will accept to take this size of mussels on their meal. The chef even not to rectify the problem.
I will not recommend or suggest people to dine in there at all.

Purchased a SCOOPON Voucher for lunch at the Albion Hotel - terrific value. Great service, great food - decent serves & so prompt clearing the table. A busy Sunday lunch with family & friends gathering.
Staff were polite, efficient & most welcoming.
Food ample & cooked to perfection.

Doesn't have a huge range of beers, but still nice pub. Great beer garden and friendly staff. Definitely one of the better places for a beer in Dandenong.

A good place to chill after work. Drinks are always cold and the food is plentiful. We are always left very full from the portions. In the past I have ordered the steak sandwich, chicken Parma, pork belly and fish and chips and all the dishes were great.
It isn't a place you would notice walking through Dandenong, but definitely worth a walk in.

We held a private function and started from dinner in bistro (food was delicious) then moved to function room. I take my hat off to Steve (Venue Manager) from day one who was remarkable, understanding, friendly, answered all my questions, excellent service, costs etc. To ALL the staff inc security who made my function run smoothly - excellent customer service, friendly, helpful, always smiling the whole works. I would definitely recommend this place and come again (let alone spread the word). Well done to all the staff & Management keep up the great work.

Mate and I called in for a few beers at lunchtime and bitterly disappointed about quality of beer.
Both being beer drinkers for over 50 years we ordered Carlton draught and agreed it tasted really strange.Decided to try a VB and GUESS WHAT!
It tasted exactly the same,HOW STRANGE!!
Please don’t think the public are imbeciles

Came here on a Groupon. Food plentiful and staff very friendly. The chicken drumettes as entree were amazing. However our steak was inedible. The chef cooked it perfectly but they need to change their butcher. There were so many tendons and grisly bits that only one quarter was eaten, and that was only after picking through the pile of cut up mess. They were very apologetic and offered to replace the meal or free desert. The staff handled themselves very well over our poor meals, to their credit. We sat by the open fire and enjoyed the quiet evening mid week. Will come back.

Great customer service and Yummy food. Decent decor with fire place.we ordered Drumette in peanut sauce with salad as entre. Grilled Salmon & Fish and chips for mains. All very yummy.

Visited here for an early Sunday Evening roast dinner, as it was a only a short walk from our Hotel. It was fairly quiet, & we wondered if we'd made a bad choice. However, the roast (beef) came out and the meal was very enjoyable. Everything nicely cooked, good gravy & plentiful portions. Was nice to have fresh (not frozen) steamed vegies accompanying the meat & roast potatoes. Friendly & efficient staff looked after us well. All up, a great feed for around $20p/p & definitely exceeded our expectations.

Amazing Food ... Lovely Staff .. Can’t Fault this place .. 4 Of us Ate here this afternoon and all the food was brilliant .. The 2 Girls had the grilled Salmon I had Slow roast lamb shoulder and my mate had a porterhouse steak 🥩

Had a Groupon voucher, the meal was worth the money spent. The desert was terrible. Would have been nice to get table service but staff were friendly.
Didn’t feel to safe on the street outside though so pick your times.
