Went for drinks & dinner with a large group. Views of the sunset were amazing as were the cocktails. Food was yum & generous serves. Towards later in the night did run out of some drinks & blender stopped working for cocktails. Seeing want quite...what we expected as it was right next to hotel pool & spa.More
Our group of 11 spent our first night in Airlie recently after arriving from Brisbane. Booked a few months prior and had our table ready as soon as we walked in. Can say the staff were super friendly all night and were a pleasure to...deal with. Management had been great to deal with as well. Very busy establishment so would book prior as numerous people got turned away and it was a Thursday night. Views were great, atmosphere was a fun vibe, everyone just there for a lovely night. Food and drinks no issues from our end, hence the $700 plus tab we racked up. Highly recommend if you are staying in the vicinity, we were in a resort two hundred meters away so was ideal for us. Watched the footy on TV as well so was a bonusMore
Dropped in for lunch, had the scallops & pork belly along with fish tacos. Both were really good. Staff were lovely, will definitely return. A great place for a drink and bite to eat, and reasonably close to town.
Best beef burger I’ve ever had, chips were so good can’t wait to come back again, also staff are so friendly and up for a chat :)
We had a light lunch there on the last day of our stay in the Whitsunday Terraces complex. The staff were super friendly and helpful and went the extra mile. We had perfectly cooked mussels with a delicious chilli sauce. Drinks prices were reasonable for...Airlie Beach. Views across the pool to the bay were lovely. Just right to cool off. We would definitely return.More
Was quite a crowded area, and the view wasn’t as great as what I was expecting. The atmosphere was busy and loud, would be a nice place to start before hitting the town. Drinks were a little bit if a wait and to be seated...as well. Make sure you book a table otherwise it’s near impossible to be seated straight away. Once seated we ordered straight away - another tip, look online at what you want to order because the wait for food during a busy night was 45-60min wait. The food was really tasty (The Can’t Decide Platter) but really not worth the wait. Overall a nice place but probably wouldn’t go back to eat, just too much of a wait.More
We went to the anchor bar for dinner and really enjoyed the evening. You go to the bar to order but everything is efficient and very friendly. We ordered a few small plates all of which were very good then had some of the best...steaks any of us had had for a while, not exactly cheap but definitely great quality and value and perfectly cooked. Great spot for a drink and highly recommendedMore
The Anchor Bar cooked up our fresh fish for lunch that was caught in Airlie beach on a charter the day before. The Anchor bar staff took care of everything all we had to do was book and bring the fish. After handing our fish...over we had our meals in no time with fresh fish that was arranged in to three types battered, grilled and tacos with an arrange meant of french/sweet potato fries and coleslaw and garden salad. Awesome feed highly recommend it. You'll never go back to bought fish after a meal like thisMore
We arrived late afternoon and were a bit underwhelmed, but once the sun set and the evening diners arrived the atmosphere completely changed. Best cocktails in Airlie! The food was top quality, and best choice was the "Can't Decide Platter". Definitely enough for 2 or...more people. Staff were friendly and service was excellent.More
