We had eyed this place of for out stay every day we drove past and looked so busy. Rightly so it's a great spot. On our last day visiting we thought we would just walk up and see if we could get a table, a...lovely girl with an accent seated us right up on the high table over looking the waterfront. Superb. We were very disappointed with the service on our recent visit for breakfast. Our the food arrived 30 minutes after our coffee / tea and the eggs were cold. The sides are also overpriced - the roasted mushrooms consisted of one mushroom ($5) and the...roasted tomatoes ($4) was half of one tomato. We will be go elsewhere in future.More

Had brunch here while waiting to catch the ferry to Hamilton Island. Beautiful food- much better than anything we had on HI. Good location with water views, and walking distance through the park to the ferry terminal.

Overly priced breakfast. We ordered a toasted ham and cheese croissant (almost A$13 each) , which were still cold in the middle, and a small fruit salad each. Wow, I will be gushing about this place. Free coffee because I came before 8:30 am, good coffee, and the best Miss Benny I’ve ever had. I had to wait 15 minutes for it because they’re so busy., but it was worth the wait. The...crew were all beautiful looking, from the barista to the servers. Not that it should matter what they look like. Best of all, they were attentive and all appeared happy to be there. Highly, highly recommend! 👍More

Walking around town we had fish and chips near this cafe but decided to get milkshakes here. It was. Very busy, maybe they should have had more staff on seeing that a big cruise ship was in . Had to wait awhile but the milkshakes...were delicious, Staff were very friendly.More

We visited Sidewalk Cafe three times for breakfast while staying in Airlie Beach. Had fantastic service, food and coffee & iced coffee every time. Highly recommend

We both had eggs Bennie 1 with salmon one with bacon, generous serving of salmon and hollandaise. We went on the public holidays so there was 15% surcharge on p/h. But the food was very good and considering how busy they were the food came...out rather fast too. Highly recommend.More
