Rang "off chance" for a quiet dinner. Land Shanks and Seafood were excellent. The wine choices were good and the service very friendly. If you wish a quiet and tasty dinner then this is a great place outside the town centre. Well worth while!

Thank you for you comments. Bridget as part owner works very hard to provide consistent quality meals. She does not venture far from the kitchen but after 40 years on cheffing, very much appreciates compliments More

We enjoyed our meal at this quiet restaurant. It's always a good start when you have linen napkins! And we weren't disappointed. The food was beautifully cooked and presented with a touch of creativity. The waiter(s) chatted and made us feel most welcome. We holiday in Airlie Beach each year, visiting family, and this would have been one of the... More

We had superb meals. Barra meal unique and delicious especially the avocado/ mango accompaniment. Sticky pork belly cooked to perfection with the baby pears giving a tasty sweet edge. Staff extremely helpful and cheery. Recommend the smooth Prosecco sparkling too. We were lucky to get a table. Bookings suggested.

Thank you for your comments. My wife is the chef and whilst she does not interact with guests much, appreciates that guests enjoy the hard work that goes into running a kitchen More

4 of us had dinner there. The menu is uninspiring and the cooking style is old. The food does not seems fresh and well presented. I would rate it as a very standard meal but not exactly cheap. The place has some atmosphere but it could be done much nicer with some thoughts. I guess being part of a resort... More

After reading all the positive reviews and actually staying at the motel we decided to dine in the restaurant on our last night. Unfortunately I will be one of those people out of 10 that complain. Don't get me wrong. The atmosphere was lovely. The staff were lovely and even gave us complimentary bread which we didn't order. We ordered... More

All three of our meals were beautifully cooked and the service was excellent. They even brought out a little cake for me as it was my birthday. Would definitely recommend if you want a quiet dinner.

Last night in Airlie before going home to Sydney and the cold. This restaurant was recommended to me and it certainly lived up to that. In spite of a large group turning up late, the service for the two of us was timely with comfortable gaps between courses and the staff very friendly and attentive. A relaxed atmosphere with a... Outstanding service from happy and friendly staff, our group enjoyed a fantastic meal with a laugh and a joke and at times the staff joined in with us. One of our best nights out was at this restaurant with the owner John and his team of dedicated staff, very memorable.
