The atmosphere her is lovely, the place is decorated with fair lights and has a wonderful view of the ocean. However the food was only OK. It isn't as higher quality as you would expect for the prices and quality of the hotel. However, we had a very enjoyable evening and the service was good.

A great way to start each day. Amazing view from every table (especially upfront), great service and it seems same staff day in / day out which is a great way for staff to build a rapport with their guests. The buffet changed slightly each day mainly a change up in hot dishes (mushrooms, baked beans, spaghetti, savoury mince) which... More

A group of us had a Christmas get together here. The restaurant is in a beautiful spot with amazing views in an open air setting. Our waiter was a little slow to organise drinks when we first arrived although he had a good sense of humour to deal with our constantly changing food orders. Beautiful food, tastefully presented. The Mango... More

We dined at Tides whilst staying at Peppers - the meal was included but we only found out once at the restaurant that the menu was reduced and the servings smaller than the main menu - given it was advertised as an included dinner I don't think it should have been smaller than the normal menu. The food was fresh... More

My wife and I enjoyed an evening at Tides in September. The whole evening was wonderful. The setting was lovely with views across the water to the Horizon. The service and food were excellent and the servings generous. We couldn’t fault our experience. The next day we had a lovely buffet breakfast sitting next to the pool with views out... More

Excellent view over the harbour. Not too pricey. Good choice of wine. Found dinner a better time to eat here than lunch.

Arrived starving at the resort and ordered room service with refreshments, Jenna arrived promptly with our food and it was delicious. Breakfast every morning at tides was more than we could eat. The banana dessert was delicious. The cocktail deal 10 for $99 was awesome and yummy cocktails were had for a couple of nites. I have no complaints they... More

We dined here one night as part of our stay. Meals were very small and we left feeling like we had 2 entrees rather than entre and main. Food however was nice. The 2 male staff worked very hard and had to as the 3 other female waitresses made themselves scarce and chatted with customers whilst dirty dishes remained on... More

Take full advantage of the setting at Tides Restaurant & Bar at Peppers Airlie Beach. Pull up a bar stool or be seated at a table overlooking the stunning Whitsunday Passage. Admire the Coral Sea dotted with islands. The menu is based on local organic fruit and vegetables, fish and prawns fresh from nearby reefs, Queensland scallops, crabs and bugs expertly combined with the passion for food that Chef Gregory Devine is renowned for. The wine list will likewise be excellent. Chef Gregory Devine successfully infuses modern Australian cuisine with Asian overtones. Sourcing regionally, the menu is full of seasonal freshness and features signature dishes like Black Angus beef fillet with exotic mushroom crust and a delicious Valrhona chocolate dessert plate.
