Everyone was catered and looked after. The 11 year old felt spoilt, the baby was in his high chair being doted on, and my wife got a drink in fire.
Oysters were fresh and tasty.
Food was great, as well as the service
We are staying in Airlie Beach a lot of restaurants are closed due to staff shortages, fish d,vine was open and packed. We waited for a table out came the best garlic bread then the seafood crowded was azing the wife said the Atlantic salmon...was excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient even with it being so busy.
Thanks for agreat dinner.More
Despite the recommendation by Airlie’s local tour guides we felt severely miss lead after booking a $85 set menu and arriving to a highly unsafe Covid ‘Buffet Dining Experience’. Understandably, the industry was short staffed in the Christmas period, however it was confusing to see...staff standing around at the bar, at times on their phones while customers waited in line for buffet and where told we could only order mojitos because they were so understaffed. Clearly this was not the case as seen in photos
Furthermore, walking the Main Street and seeing many restaurants closed due to no staff, we thought those restaurants who could afford to stay open would want to offer the best dining experience and take advantage of peak season after years of slow seasons. This was the opposite. After voicing our concerns, the host sat down in eye sight and began drinking and eating. With such high hopes for this restaurants as advised by locals and the reviews we felt the restaurants is not worth it. $170 for a buffet of seafood seams poor value since there was minimal effort involved in preparing the food only lemon and seafood sauce and the basic potato salad and potato bake to accompany.
Not one to write reviews so hope this helps any diners choosing an experience, this is not it, hop over to The Pub just next door for a superior meal.More

Thanks for your comments and they are taken in good grace. We have also been impacted by major staffing shortages and after having feedback from guests after opening on Thursday with a very limited menu (lack of choice) we closed Friday and did a seafood...More
I have been here quiet a few times now but always forget my last experience and get loured in by the bao buns on the menu…. Unfortunately they are always stale and lack taste. My most recent visit I advertised the waitress of this who...had no comment and still charge which I believe to be poor service. However fish and oysters I would highly recommend.More
We came on New Years Day and it was a full house. We waited at the bar with a few cocktails whilst the owner tried his best to squeeze us in. He got us a table inside and we asked to be outside and he...was more than happy to accommodate. We got the seafood platter and it was perfect, the calamari, prawns and oysters were outstanding. Rhi was our waitress and she was such a vibe and had great banter throughout the night. The food took a bit long as the the restaurant was packed so the owner personally apologised to us, and gave us a mojito on the house, really showing his care for his customers. Overall a perfect night out.More
This seafood restaurant along with its accompanying Rum bar is a must see/do when visiting Airlie Beach
My wife and I share the seafood platter and it was incredible. A mix of hot and cold seafood that was worth the expense. The oysters natural were...incredible as was the barbecued prawn atop the hot food was also so tasty. There was so much food that we couldn’t finish it.
A couple of drinks from the Rum bar to go with the food and it was totally memorableMore
Food was nice enough but nothing stood out, the seafood platter didn’t really live up to the hype for us (we might be spoilt on the Sunshine Coast though). Service was very mediocre and it didn’t feel like a ‘special’ night out. For what we...paid, we wouldn’t go back.More
We visitors this restaurant twice while we were in Airlie. The platter was next level, the whole deep fried reef fish and the mojitos…. Oh my goodness so much Devine food and beverages. Loved the bloody Mary’s too.
I nearly forgot we went back for...the seafood chowder - honestly everything was delicious.
We will be back next trip 🙌🏽🙏🏽 🤤More
