Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Staying on Hamilton Island, we did some research on where to have lunch outside of the main stretch - and found, via reviews, Fish D'vine. Took the ferry over for a walk and lunch. Walked in, seated and watered immediately. Totara Sauvignon and a Lord...Nelson - partner wrote hers down to try and get some later on. Waiter was very professional and quick. Great service. There was only 2 people looking after tables as the lunch rush was arriving (including us) and they were doing a great and attentive job. Ocean basket, and coconut prawns with green mango side. Glorious. Just what the doctor ordered. Also, probably the best, most el dente calamari I've had in years. Perfectly seasoned, too. Well worth it.More

We had a private lunch with Chef Kevin. He talked about fishing in the area and showed us the fish he was cooking. They prepared 5 fish dishes, including a chowder. Chef Kevin was terrific, as was the food.

The food and service was so good we went there twice. Seafood chowder and coral trout were amazing. Large selection of wines, beers, rum and gin. Service was number one. Staff could not do enough to please you. Loved it. Best restaurant in Airlie beach.

Me, my wife and daughter went for lunch in Airlie Beach and came across D’Vine and it was brilliant. I had the beef cheek pasta and my wife had a fish laksa and it was outstanding. The mojito’s were great as well. It was reasonably...priced and great portions. Well worth a visit.More

Really disappointing. All of our food was luke warm, not hot when it came out. All of the seafood didn't have any taste suggesting it was frozen, morton bay bugs tasted like nothing, same as the prawns mussels and scallops in the seafood linguine. For...the money I would definitely suggest somewhere else, this is one of the more expensive restaurants on airlie, and it didn’t deliver for the price. Wouldn’t go back, would rather go to maccas!More

Over promised menu , under delivered food. Firstly , plastic in my oysters , also not as described on the menu. Scallops , very average and not consistent, lacking flavour and passion. I’m guessing the “ head chef “ has a mate who has a...snow pea farm , as all the garnishes were just that , totally lacked imagination, so boring. My partners prawns were floury , lacked flavour and had obviously been thawed and refrozen , woeful effort. If you want average food at an over the top cost go here. It’s rubbish and don’t recommend it whatsoever, only saving grace is good staff and good drinks list. 3/10More

Went for the crispy whole fish but they were sold out. Got the seafood tower instead. At $155 we were pretty disappointed. The “fresh” seafood tasted like it had been frozen. The oysters were ok and the chips weren’t too bad. The cocktails were pretty...good, but overpriced. Probably our fault for going to a seafood restaurant in a major tourist spot and ordering the most touristy meal possible. Some of the other meals coming out looked better. Avoid the tower if you go here.More

Boasting an impressive location on the Airlie Beach foreshore, together with a covered footpath dining or light filled interior space on wooden floor this was the selected location for dinner. Most nights it was full, so suggest booking if the date and time are not...flexible. Highly recommend the Seafood Chowder (served in bread roll) and wife enjoyed the rack of lamb. Waiting staff was new to the location but did her job well. Individualised the order correctly and made sensible and relevant suggestions on accompaniments. Well worth a visit, or two!More

Amazing food and cocktails with a great view. Would definitely recommend, the seafood was fresh and delicious. They also split the bill for a large group. Will definitely go back when I’m up again.

Good location and excellent service. * Mojitos were excellent! * Aperol Spritz were good. * The Italian waitress who had been working there for only two weeks was excellent. She was super attentive, friendly and efficient. * The bloody Mary oyster shots were spot on...- Yum! * The lamb rack was underdone. Fat had not been rendered off so huge hunks of lamb fat filled the plate. * The butterflied prawns were ok. Couscous served did not match menu description. One of the prawns over cooked. * an error with the wine we ordered but not biggy. Was still good. * Obviously shouldn’t have gone to a seafood restaurant for a rack of lamb but don’t have it on the menu if it can’t be cooked properly. Would go back to get stuck into more of the seafood and for the service. Very reasonably priced too.More
