We had 2 takeaway pizzas (aubergine one and salami) - they were some of the best pizzas we have ever had! definitely recommend this place - reasonable cost too!

We arrived to find this place very busy but staff were very accommodating to sort us a table after a short wait. (Definitely worth booking at the weekend!). Bruschetta and pizzas were all excellent with very friendly staff. The final bill was very reasonable too....Overall would definitely recommend this place!More
Friendly but slow service, drinks barely drinkable, pizza just ok, gnocchi very poor. Would definitely not rush back.
Come here every year when in Palm Cove Best pizzas in Palm Cove Start with the Bufala e prosciutto entree then onto the garlic prawn pizza Reasonable prices and good attentive staff
Amaaazing Italian, absolutely loved everything I’ve eaten there so far (the bruschetta, calzone and homemade tiramisus are the BEST!). The staff are also really friendly and I enjoy being able to eat Al fresco on the terrace just by the esplanade.
Very disappointing. !!!👎Hardly anything on the pizza besides cheese. Much better places to eat in Palm Cove.
Amazing food and hosts at @ilfornopalmcove. Superb menu and drinks list. We didn’t book and they were very accomodating. Food came quickly despite them being quite busy l. Bonus that we didn’t have to wait long at all which was holiday bliss for parents trying...to enjoy a night out with 3 hungry kids! Plus, hands down the B E S T gluten free pizza base I’ve had 🌟More
il forno, creates the most delicious pizzas in Australia! My family and I ordered takeaway on a recent visit to Palm Cove, and were blown away by the quality of il forno's pizzas. Everything was absolutely top-notch! The Porcini mushroom, buffalo mozzarella, provolone cheese and...truffle oil pizza was to die for! I can't stop comparing all other pizzas to the brilliance of il forno's product. Highly recommended.More
After a long day traveling we wanted a quick bit to eat. The greeting was very welcoming. Choices were made from a great menu and friendly interactions had with staff. Pizzas were delicious, quality hand made bases and ingredients. Gluten free bases were one of...the best we have eaten. As was the normal base. Ambience outside was relaxed and cosy.More
Last minute booking, easily accommodated. Sitting outside great ambience. Pizza was delicious, crisp cold drinks excellent service.
Takeaway gnocchi and pizza. The gnocchi was okay although it didn’t appear to be homemade and there was only a small amount in the container. The pizza was disappointing. Prawn pizza had 6 slices and 8 prawns with the tails still on. Would expect more...prawns for a small $30 pizza that has nothing else on it. The sauce was quite salty. We have had some great food while in Palm Cove from Choc Dee, Vivo, Lucky Fish and Rattle n Hum to name a few but Il Forno unfortunately was disappointing. I rate it 6/10 as I would be prepared to try again on our next visit.More
4th night of our 2-week trip and, after an enjoyable lunch at O'Donnells, we were looking for a light dinner. We'd seen quite a few takeaway pizzas being carried along the Esplanade so we decided to go for a pizza. The place was busy with...lots of people crammed into the room upstairs and others at uncomfortable looking tables outside so takeaway seemed to be the way to go. The wait wasn't too bad and gave us time to pick up some wine from the nearby Life Saving Club bottle shop (ie the bar inside). Quite a disappointment. Our large Supreme pizza was quite small and we've had a lot better at many places elsewhere.More
We’ve just had our 3rd Il Forno pizza take-out! Honestly do yourself a favour and eat here. One of the greatest pizzas we’ve ever had. Highly recommend the bruschetta, meat lovers and tonight’s special with salami, Brie, Gorgonzola and rosemary. Pure heaven. Lovely friendly people...and excellent service. Super quick too!More
We arrived without a booking on a very busy evening and they could not do more to accommodate us. They were clearly run off their feet, but found us a table, served water immediately and took our drinks order, returning with our wine, shortly there...after. The smells of the food had us ordering straight away, to enjoy the most delicious 'Real Italian style' pizza, with our chianti. The tiramisu was the perfect end to our meal. Engaging staff providing wonderful food in a really lovely environment. Well done!More
What a warmth exudes from this pizzeria, which spills out from its small indoor dining area onto the patio outside. The owner and his staff provide a warm welcome, and a good balance of friendliness and efficiency, to make you feel valued as a patron....It doesn’t alway happen like that these days. On top of that, the pizza was great. Definitely worth a visit.More
