Amazing food, great service -BUT constant stench of a toilet inside the venue -worse than a Peruvian truck stop rest room - needs immediate attention !!

Some good vegan options. Nice vibe. But over 2 night visit food was a bit inconsistent. I had the same main and second night very different than the first.
Unfortunately what looked like a great place turned out to be very disappointing. The service was slow and the staff seemed very unhappy. Our food was not very hot and when we mentioned that to the staff they just didn’t seem to care. The food...tasted very average and it was over priced. Then they told us they didnt accept cash. My poor mum wanted to shout us but of course we didn’t let her. Plus she doesn’t have a credit card. Don’t bother wasting your time here unless you want to be dissapointed.More
Outside low table for 3 We arrived for our booking exactly on time. We entered to let you know we had arrived. The place was very busy and we stood around for minute or so hoping someone would appear and show us to our table....The staff we encountered were all heads down and very busy with other orders. After a few more minutes I managed to broadside a member of staff and said we were here for our table. They hurriedly said we would have to join the line, some 8/10 people it was hard to see who was actually waiting in front of us, and ask at the counter. Fair enough we joined the line. Fifteen minutes later now having learned how to make some cocktails I finally got to ask about our table. There, I must say, an extremely courteous member of staff asked my name and looked me up. They then told men we were on table 41 and 42 and pointed vaguely towards it. That having been done they hurried off obviously under pressure. When we found tables 41 and 42, this in itself seemed odd that we had two tables, but anyway. We found table 42 which was a small table for two and then saw table 41 next to it. This table had at least 6 people surrounding it and in fact we had to squeeze past them to make the best of the small space left on 41. We then started to look at the menu. I then went to the bar to order some drinks while we were deciding what to eat. Back in the bar I lined up again and 15 minutes later I walked away with 2 cocktails and a bottle of water. I also learned at this stage that once I had selected from the menu I could come back inside, presumably line up again to order or I could use the QR code on the table. I was unsure about this as 1, you had me down for two tables, and 2 I had never ordered this way before. Regardless we scanned the code and started ordering. Halfway through ordering the app crashed, my fault no doubt, so I tried to scan again but to no avail. My wife now used her phone and got in and we seemed to be doing ok until it was time to pay at which point I realised that my wife had been gifted a voucher worth $100.00 but there was no way to use this from the app. As this voucher was the main reason we came to dine with you we aborted the transaction on the app and went back inside. At this point things started to go wrong- I was already mildly annoyed at having been in and out the doors for over half an hour I still was nowhere near ordering. The staff were even busier now and the line for the counter was deeper and longer. I foolishly tried to go to the front of the line to attract the attention of the one member of staff with whom we had had any interaction only to be berated by an irate Karen who informed me in no uncertain terms that I would not be getting attended to before her. I took her point and asked if I could step in behind her lamely trying to explain how many times I had done this trip without success. The next person in line made it clear that they too were in no mood to have their spot crashed and looking at the end of the line it dawned on me that I could be here for another half hour. At this point my good humour decided to have the rest of the night off so as the red veil started to descend I made my way to the side of the bar and intercepted the next member of staff I saw and asked if there was a manager on duty. They pointed to an extremely busy person who briefly acknowledged there was someone who needed attending to tout-suite but then proceeded to make another couple of cocktails. I accept they may have been in the middle of an order but by then my care factor gone off presumably to look for my good humour. When they eventually got to me I explained about the voucher and they said it was only for drinks and that if I wanted any I would have to join the line! - this wasn’t what I believed and they eventually agreed it was valid for food too. At this point I’d had enough so I asked for my credit card back and that I had decided not to dine there after all. They gave me the card back and mentioned that I had to pay for the drinks to which I replied spontaneously with a word that in my native language is an unmistakable No. The drinks were untouched on table 42 when we left but we did have half a glass of water while standing near our table waiting for the occupants of table 41 to shuffle along so we might attempt sitting down. I owned a bar in London for over twenty years next to a football stadium and my customers weren’t as patient as yours for the most part but what I did give them as soon as they set foot through my doors was eye contact from either myself or my staff so that they felt that someone had acknowledged them and had put them in a mental queue and they would be attended to in turn. This took any uncertainty about waiting away and helped the customer feel they would be getting served rather than just standing around ignored. I hasten to add that I have had, prior to this episode, only good experiences at the Blanche Bar but that was when there was someone to take my order. I suppose eating out is going the way of supermarkets with their self check out that require less staff. Maybe a front of house person, the old Maitre d’, is an unnecessary expense in today’s market?More
Keep an eye out for daily specials. We went on half price Monday food was pretty good. Cocktails ok. Service was good great outdoor seating area.
When we have to pay $30 for a steak sandwich it should be awesome. A steak in these should be tender and should not have to be cut with a knife. Its hard to eat when you cannot bite through it. Maybe the chef should...try one.More
We went for 1/2 price Monday for dinner. First point is all the specials are exempt from the half price mains deal. If fine print in the specials screen. Ordering is frustrating as have to order meals, no table service and que was many deep....Then after ordering meal have to join another que, again a long wait to order drinks. In my opinion the place is understaffed. Cutlery tray had no forks, had to ask for forks had to wait to get them dried and put out. Tables were not cleared for long period after being vacated. Meals, I did order the seafood paster off the specials board which was impressive (and full price). I ordered the Caesar Salad, a disappointment as was not a main dish, was not a traditional Caesar salad with fried egg, no anchovies, no crotons, etc. Why call it a Caesar when obviously a loose interpretation of a very traditional dish. No hurry to return.More

Food was good, beer was cold, not much of a wait considering how busy it was and not too expensive. Not bad
What a nice surprise. We are out at the overflow caravan park. All main meals are 1/2 Price. Very tasty and pleasant out door seating.
Tapas Tuesday was great value. It went well with beer. This was a popular place. Food was delicious and service friendly.
Great location, great food, wide range of drinks and excellent live music, encouraging all to head there
Absolutely beautiful dinner everyone loved their meals steak sandwiches and thai salad was amazing best of all oyster's were the best
Visited with work colleagues on a Tuesday evening and the place was pretty much empty. It was half price tapas night ($7). I ordered the scallops and the boys ordered the Tsunami parmy and the brisket. You have to order at the bar and receive...a buzzer to collect your meal when it is ready. We sat outside in the lovely breeze and thoroughly enjoyed every part of our meals. The scallops were perfectly cooked, the brisket was melt in your mouth and the parmy was very well presented. The meals were extremely large so bring your appetite. Slightly expensive but that's what you expect up here. Would definitely come here again.More
First time visiting Karratha, thought we would book a table in advance for a much anticipated seafood platter. The place was very overcrowded, had to wait 10mins to be seated at our reserved table. Told seafood platter is not available on a Monday. Ok, we...thought - let’s try something else on the menu as we were feeling lucky that we had booked a table in advance. Website says “family friendly”… no children’s menu though… we sat debating if we purchase a $40 fish and chips for our 10 year old. As we were deciding what to order we were then told that the table we were on was reserved for someone else. Why have online booking when we don’t even get a table!?? We finished our drinks and left to find somewhere else. Incredibly disappointing. Just a thought - Perhaps table service would be best at this place to stop so many people walking in and out collecting their meals. ? Also more staff needed taking meals as they seemed run off their feet.More
