Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Pleasant cafe at the top of Mt Glorious, decor inside and out looked very retro American diner. An obvious popular stop for flash cars and motorcycles. Stopped for morning coffee and muffins which were very nice. Staff attentive and friendly. Order brought out to us...quite quickly. Quickly perused menu, appears a good selection. Im not particularly a fussy eater but probably not a place if you have dietary restrictions or lifestyle eating choices (eg vegan).More

I stopped by for lunch (beef burger & chips) & a coffee after doing a hike up at Mt Glorious (Piper Comanche plane wreck). Mt Glorious cafe is in a gorgeous mountain setting & the food was decent & served quickly. The menu was limited/generic...but suited my needs. There were lots of bikies there with their motorbikes. It’s clearly a magnet for bikies and car lovers as the decor inside (Harley Davidson signs, hot rod posters, even a miniature model plane hanging from the ceiling) is designed to appeal to rev heads. All in all this is an interesting cafe - I didn’t see any other cafes up at Mt Glorious so I am I will be back here in the future.More

A true bikers diner. Portions were generous, but the menu limited if you have dietary requirements. Friendly staff and quick service though. Nothing special otherwise.

We were travelling through Mount Glorious on a Sunday and decided to have breakfast at the cafe. There were so many bike riders at the cafe. Enjoying the sunny day and the tight winding roads they were taking a break at the cafe. We sat...inside and ordered coffee and a Bacon and Egg Wraps The coffees were excellent as were the wraps. With so many people at the cafe it was really well organised and the staff were efficient and friendly.More

I wanted to take my 10 year old daughter out for a drive and a bite to eat so we decided to go to the Mt Glorius cafe. It’s Facebook page indicated it was open until 3pm. I rang ahead and was told the kitchen...closed at 2pm. We arrived at 1.50pm and ordered some food. We then proceeded to the indoor seated area where several people were seated to then be told the indoor area closed at 1.30pm. It was raining outside but we were still made to eat our food outside. While the outside tables had umbrellas, they did not stop the tables and seats from getting wet and my daughter had to finish her meal in the car. The only assistance we were offered was a cloth to wipe the seats. Because we were hungry we persevered. Very disappointed!!!More

This coffee shop/cafe is the hub of Mt Glorious, the service great and the food very tasty with generous servings. The staff were very keen to offer the best service with nothing too much trouble. Picturesque setting and very popular especially with the biking fraternity....Well worth the drive and the stop.More

IM NOT COUNTING HER KETO POINTS .... then young lady came.out and said... im sorry I don't know what is in it... she was embarrassed. I simply asked what is was made off... was it that hard. If you buy a coffee, you can't sit down. If you buy a coffee and a pastry, you still.can't sit down. Even when there are only 2 people inside the cafe. But at least, say it kindly, not barking. They dont seem to understand service...here. Coffee lid wasnt put on properly so my friend had coffee running down him. When I went to grab some serviettes and (laughingly) told the woman what had happened, she was very defensive and unpleasant. She must have gotten out on the wrong side of bed. Either that, or she should be working in positions that have no customer contact. Won't be going back, as coffee was only average.More

I ordered a blt on a Gf bun, with a side of chips. The cashier informed me the chips aren’t gluten free as they’re done in the same frier, no problem I thought, boyfriend will surely eat them! Only later to have the cook come...out and talk to me personally to see my level of intolerance (informing her I’m coeliac), she changed the sauce and started again. May seem little to others but I’m sure other Coeliacs will understand this was comforting to know! Also had the Gf brownie, and oh my GOODNESS! Delicious!More

Had a classic breakfast which was gratefully received after a flight over from the UK. The meal was cooked to perfection with what was on the plate delicious and full of taste! The crowning glory we’re the poached eggs which were perfect! The poor lass...was rushed off her feet which lead to her having to make us wait. Bit of a petrolhead hang out which adds character to the placeMore

I recently stopped here with my family and during a solo ride. On previous drives, it has been packed and it is obviously very popular. A great café to stop at during your ride/drive. The food is great, the coffee one of the best I've...had and service is quick and friendly.More

It was over 30 years between my visits to this Café and nothing much has changed - which is a positive thing! Great location, friendly staff, interesting people coming and going, clearly a favourite with passing bikers, good menu and reasonably priced.

This cafe has been around for a long while and is a favorite stop for motorcycle riders and car clubs.Food is typical cafe fare from a simple bite to something a bit more. The route up over Mt. Glorious is a scenic one (allow about...45 minutes from the city) and can form a basic up and back trip or a longer "loop" through Wivenhoe and Fernvale. Seating out front is mainly preferred by the motorcyclists but there's also plenty of indoor seating.More
