Fabulous food, staff and location. Excellent homemade gluten free bread and cheese scones - never felt so spoilt.

We were a group of four and we ate Breakfast at The Running Fox on 28 May. The breakfast menu was fabulous with plenty of choice for our group. We all chose different options - Full English Breakfast, bacon sandwich and Granola with fruit. As...the Running Fox is an artisan café and bakery, the breakfasts were served with freshly baked bread and the granola was available to buy in the shop. The food and service were fabulous. We made a selection of purchases from the shop before we left! We would definitely dine here again on another trip to Northumberland.More

My partner, daughter and I had a lovely breakfast here. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. My daughters is 19months and was getting abit restless the lady brought over a book for her which helped to settle her. We also got take out cakes...which were amazing. Definitely a trip here. We will be returning.More

Visited with my daughter for Afternoon tea, great selection of sandwiches and pastries. Was not disappointed, huge, stuffed sandwiches, deep filled pie and quiche, as much coffee as we wanted. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely visit again

Outstanding menu catering for all dietary requirements including vegan, vegetarian and gluten free. We had been looking forward to visiting for breakfast on the strength of friends recommendations and we were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and attentive and the service was quick and...efficient. The Running Fox will be a 'must do' when we return to Northumberland.More

Had afternoon tea from here a couple of times now. The cakes and pies are really great. However, the sandwiches are just average. Fillings really well put together, and combos work well. But the bread is poor. Cheap white loaf. Why? Sourdough, or baguette, or...even a stottie - anything would be better. Keep going, but just change that bit and it’s just great.More

Came here most days whilst on holiday in Eshott recently, had breakfast, coffee and cake, takeaway scones and sandwiches, all excellent. Highly recommend the sweet Eggy bread for breakfast 😋The sandwiches we had were huge!! Well worth the money. A lovely little seated area out...front and dog friendly which we wanted, lovely friendly welcoming people.More

We were recently in Scotland on a house hunting trip and heading back to the south coast. We recollected one of the Running Fox places from a previous trip so decided to try the Felton one for lunch. Coffee was great. Sandwiches were amazing. Great...fresh bread, good selection of fillings and very well filled. In fact the Scotch egg and sausage roll we also got were surplus to requirements and made the next days lunch. We also got slices of quiche and pie to have when we got hom. Again, both were amazing. Very friendly and efficient staff. Great Covid precautions. Handy for A1. Will come again if only to try some of the local walks and have lunch.More

Beautiful afternoon tea delivered and presented in their branded box. Everything just as we remembered at The Running fox and how it should be but delivered to your door. We ordered 2x Afternoon teas for delivery and 2x extras. Process was quick and simple and...payment made over the phone. Excellent communication and arrived 12.30pm. Sandwiches were so thick, fresh and bread soft. The pies were delicious as were the huge scones and cakes. Will definately be enjoying more of this later in the afternoon as we couldn't finish as usual. Thank you to the Running Fox team. You have really made our Mothers day special this year. We can't wait to return to your cafe soon!More

As long as you request to sit down stairs there will be no problem with the pushchair. They do have another place in Longframlington that is all based on one level, the staff are very helpful so you should have no problem,and... More
