Haven't been here for years, the pub has been miraculously transformed and is stunning, a west end feel in the heart of rural Berkshire. A well stocked bar and fabulous food seven of us all each having a superb meal, and a nice cheese board too.very reasonably priced and excellent staff, you'd be mad not to give it a try.

Visited with friends today and had a lovely time. Food was good and service was exceptional. I had the veggie roast and it was very tasty, so nice to have a decent option for a Sunday lunch rather than having to have a veggie burger etc. My friend is coeliac and the staff were very knowledgeable (and went to double... The pub itself is lovely, and the majority of staff are lovely too. However there is one man who works behind the bar (didn't get a name but he is tall, with dark hair and a small ponytail which is shaved underneath) who is extremely rude. It was not just my party who commented on it but other people out... More

I went to the D&P with my husband and 1.5yr old daughter on Saturday for lunch. The service was great and the food was delicious. They were also very understanding about the mess my daughter made! Shame they don't have a play area for children anymore. The place looked like it had had a nice refurb, the decor was chic... More

After visiting with a group of girls last year for a first-night hen do warm up, i decided to return for a night away with my husband. We ate in the restaurant which was empty when we first arrived but soon became busy and buzzing after around 8pm. The food was really nice - i had the cod and chips... More

Visited with family for a Sunday lunch and had high expectations as similarly priced lunch from where I live are very good. Unfortunately their pricing is all wrong and charging what I would consider a lot of money for a very average standard, I assume their price structure is based on location not quality. Portions were just ok, roast potatoes... More

We went for a quiet dinner Friday night, attracted by the burgers and we're not disappointed. The staff were very welcoming, engaging us in chat and banter. The food was sublime and the service great. Good value too. 100% we will be returning possibly regularly.

Description
The Dog and Partridge offers a comfortable space for socialising and meeting friends over a drink or two or having a meal in our well established restaurant. Part of our success is the warm welcome you get from the owners Grace and Tomasz and the rest of our staff. Our team of chefs are fanatical about producing fresh food that taste great and that means sourcing ingredients locally and cooking it fresh every day. We have a diverse range of products that are healthy and delicious and some that are a little naughty but still delicious.
With a good choice of food and drink, open fire, brilliant garden and a warm welcome to both locals and those visiting our area no wonder the Dog and Partridge is bustling with people. With an added bonus of being able to bring your dog booking a table to eat specially at the weekends is a must.
