Location is great and so is the decor. The staff is super friendly and quite accommodating. Even though not being a dosa day they happily made dosas for our kids as the kids wanted to have dosa only. The cocktail was below average and the food very average in taste. The decor is quite nice and we were expecting a real nice tasty meal. Our meal was super super spicy and we were left quite high and dry

Ordered take away. Great online ordering system and they keep you posted by sms when it will be ready to pick up (which should correct previous complaints about long waits to pick up take away).
Two of the meals we ordered were great but the onion bhaji was cold and dripping in oil. Shame because it was tasty but should have used hotter oil and drained before putting it in container.

Our party of six enjoyed a very pleasant evening here. The food was served promptly and was both flavoursome and (temperature) hot. Staff were attentive and helpful. Due to the carpets and soft furnishings, the restaurant was pleasantly calm and quiet, which greatly added to our enjoyment of the evening. The total bill was very reasonable too. Definitely worth a visit.

Good food but wait time unacceptable
Was told 30mins on the phone, when I arrived after 30mins they said 5-10mins more. Then 1-2mins more... (up to 42mins now, which I could have dealt with)... but eventually waited 1hr20min to get my food. When I explained it wasn’t ok to do that to customers they offered at 10$ discount on my next order and told me the manager would call me (still no call received).
This restaurant is notorious for being late but I’ve never experienced having to wait 1h20 for a takeaway. I feel like they were being deceptive as I would have ordered from elsewhere had I known the realistic wait time.

Very disappointed with this restaurant. Worst experience ever, over two hours wait for food. We booked an early table to celebrate a birthday and avoid “busy time and longer waits”, to begin with they forgot our drinks. When the food finally came they also forgot part of the order. I understand you can get busy but it seemed that they took priority on their take away orders rather than the people sitting as I could see several times take away bags out of the kitchen and the restaurant was not that busy. Also we requested a change of table as the lamp was moving quite roughly because the air con and the light was very uncomfortable moving side to side in out faces, the waitress said the other booth was booked and in the 3 hours that we were there nobody sat at that table. Definitely not coming back here.

We are staying at Coolum for 2 days whilst on holidays from Albury ( southern NSW)
We both enjoyIndian food and were pleasantly surprised to find an Indian restaurant here in Coolum. We looked at reviews and decided to try it . The restaurant was busy so we had takeaway
I had chicken tikka and Debra had onion bhaji , enormous and delicious entrees. Our mains were just as delicious and just as enormous mine butter chicken , Debra’s a vegetable biryani. So large in fact we now have dinner for tomorrow night as well.
The tariff was very reasonable , staff. Very accomodating . A pleasure to experience the food .

Beef Vindaloo done right.
I love a good beef vindaloo but too often the flavor isn’t right or the beef isn’t slow cooked tender. I’m now a regular customer and they always nail it!

A pleasant space but the atmosphere hampered by loud background music that seemed to be more for the benefit of the staff than patrons. We ordered 2 cocktails, mine titled a mango mule was sickly sweet with none of the promised ginger kick. My partner had a passionfruit mojito and was very pleasant. To start we had onion bhajis and aloo bonda, both good examples of the genre and the highlight of the meal. To follow was chicken tikka masala and prawn vindaloo. A good CTM has nuggets of chicken fresh from the tandoor bathed in a spicy, flavoursome sauce. Not so here, the chicken had none of the requisite char and the sauce was an overly reduced tomato based number with no complexity . Likewise the prawns were in what seemed be the same base sauce as the chicken and was overly salty and with an unpleasant bitterness. The accompanying rice, naan and raita were of good quality.

Great location, fantastic staff, incredible food. Could not be more impressed by this place! We tried 4 different curries with different levels of spice and they were all delicious. Not the biggest menu but I think that reflects in the quality of the food, they’re focusing on making a few dishes really, really well. That’s not to say it’s not a great selection. I highly recommend this restaurant.

From the moment you arrive the taste hits you. We had an order of Balti Beef, Butter Chicken, Biryani and Prawn Bliss with Naarn and rice amongst 4 of us. It was amazing, tasty and filling. The service we received from Bree was exceptional. She was effervescent and bright and made our dining experience terrific. A great place to dine and we will return.

My wife and I decided to try this Indian restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised how good the food was !
Having spent some time in India myself usually it’s disappointing when getting Indian food here in Australia.. but this hit the mark for all the right reasons ..

Being in self quarantine is not much fun . When you drain your pantry to the level i did it was not possible to cook anything . I resorted to home delivery take away .. I messed up the online ordering , but Manager Andy still home delivered .. Now that is service . The Saag Ghost and Coconut rice was very good indeed . Highly recommended . I give my personal thanks to Andy who went out of his way to deliver my order . Thanks Mate steve H .

On 18 May 2024 a group of friends and us (4 people) visited.
(This is the second time we have been here).
Extensive Indian Menu, all looked good.
We ordered a mix of dishes, to share, and some rice and naans.
All was really excellent - nothing went back to the kitchen!
Recommended.
Car parking is an issue.

Absolutely magnificent, lovely staff and beautiful food. This place has a really authentic atmosphere, well spaced tables and a great outlook. Would definitely go back, great value.

This is an authentic Indian restaurant with a comprehensive menu of traditional Indian dishes and large servings. Sermon, the young lady who looked after us was very attentive and went out of her way to ensure that we had a lovely evening - highly recommended
