Fantastic venue, scrumptious food (at decent prices) and best of all, fabulous staff! It’s one of the best places to be in Coolum!

The Coolum Surf Club has been the venue that we like to take visitors to. Last Saturday my wife and I and four other guests had lunch at the restaurant. Although we placed our order first the other meals came out much earlier. When I...went to the counter to check on progress it looked like our order had been overlooked and then I was told that it was coming out now. Sure enough, five minutes later the meals arrived. My meal was luke warm and certainly not up to the standard that I usually get. However, as the cost of my meal was offset by a birthday voucher I can’t complain too much. The most annoying part was the noise in the restaurant. We tried to find a quieter spot at the northern end of the building but there were no seats. Finally in desperation we decided to leave the club and have a coffee over the road so that we could actually carry out conversations. The club would probably say that there was lots of noise because it is so popular. I couldn’t argue with that. However, I was embarrassed that I had to take my guests to another venue because of the noise. I’m sure that it won’t happen again as there are plenty of other venues to choose from.More

We visited the Coolum Club three times during our ten day stay in Coolum, the facilities are great as are the prices and food, the staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend the Surf Club as an option if you are visiting Coolum.More

Twice on this visit to Coolum, and it never fails. Yes it's huge and yes there is a lot of people, but it's great. The staff are amazing, the food is beyond generous and well priced, and there is a good range of beverages, including...essential craft beers, available! Love it! We were in Coolum 10 days and joined the club, and it was worth it for these two meals alone.More

This restaurant was excellent for lunch. The dining area has views of the beach. The food was good and service was excellent.

Not the best experience. We sat on the deck but chose the wrong table. A group of very loud people were just a couple of tables over, and we expected them to quieten once their food arrive. No luck here. Our choice our fault. Ordered...on the table app. After 20 odd minutes of waiting for our meal I checked in at the register and was initially told we hadn't ordered. Showed the receipt on my phone and our order was found. I was advised it would be out shortly. About 15 min later it arrived. The drink that came with the children's meal didn't arrive till asked for. The kids salad of rocket and baby spinach was not child friendly. Whilst we have been there often, taking visitors there something has changed. All in all not planning on rushing back. The loud table just continued loudly.More

Very efficient. Mid week and super busy. Bar staff were distracted. Sitting inside was not the preferred option (way too noisy). Sat outside in preference. Wine list was impressive if expensive. Thai omelette was lovely apparently but the prawn fettucini was a rip off. 5...prawns and luke warm at best. Could do better for $27.90 as a member. Probably won't be back. Sad cause sitting outside watching surf at night and drinking good NZ Pinot Gris was lovely.More

Meeting up with a great old friend for the first time in a couple of years, the Coolum Surf Club was the ideal location! While the weather wasn't so great, the consistently friendly and warm service from the bar staff was second to none. Simply...hanging out on the good sized deck watching the waves crashing in and listening to the roar of the ocean, while sipping on a few ice cold beers was the best way to while away a few hours in the company of a dear friend.More
