I recently travelled from Melbourne to Sydney by road. Lunch time rolled in and so we rolled into Wangaratta. It is a cute little town about 2+ hours out of Melbourne and it was a great pleasant surprise. The café / restaurant scene is quite...More

I had lunch at Cafe Derailleur before catching my train to Melbourne. The cafe is just across the road from the station, so is very convenient. The food was tasty and service was excellent. Recommended!

Found on TA and was just down the road from the motel opposite railway station, so thought we would try it. It’s an old charming building with a retro interior, great coffee, nice local staff and a top breakfast; highly recommended

We stopped in Wangaratta for lunch on the drive to Melbourne. Beautiful lunch at this busy local cafe. Service was friendly and prompt and the coffee was great. We will definitely be stopping in again on the way back. KA

This was a fantastic cafe to stop in at as we were riding the Rail Trails through Wangaratta in late Winter. Delicious food and juices with some beautifully sunny tables outside and welcoming staff. Good vegetarian options too. Can't wait to go back.

Small place with pavement tables and a great menu with excellent coffee. Quick, efficient service. This place would fit into trendy inner-city Melbourne with ease!

Best coffee! Great food. Horrible decore, just awful. Understand the look they are going for, but missed the mark by soooo far. Not shabby chic, unfortunately, coming off dingy & dirty. I am sure its not dirty but it looks & feels dirty. Miss matched...More

What a lovely little cafe ! Our food was delicious, so fresh and the coffee was great ! yes it was on the high end price wise, but well worth it. Decor was cool, and the "Hills Hoist" rack had us intrigued..... until some cyclists...More

A tiny cafe tucked into a corner opposite the railway station, its busyness in a town with a multitude of cafes and coffee shops reflects its reputation. The staff are professional and knowledgeable, and the food delightful. It's not cheap, but you get value for...More

I am sorry I do not know the answer to the question. From our point of view it was opened when the Melbourne train arrived.
