Our group of 12, seated at 2 x 6 seater tables dined here last week. I can’t speak for the whole group but our table of 6 enjoyed our dining experience.
We were given a complimentary platter of lovely focaccia bread, dipping oil , salt and pepper as soon as we arrived with endless water.
I ordered the cheesy risotto balls (3 for $9) from the sides menu as a starter and the Salmone Aioli. Hubby ordered the Bistecca Di Manzo (beef eye fillet). We both really enjoyed our food. Others at our table enjoys their meals & the great portion sized pasta.
A great drinks menu with plenty of local wine selections
Staff were helpful and courteous. Overall a nice dinner out with friends combined Ed with great food.

My partner and I came here for dinner on a Saturday night and enjoyed every minute. The food was delicious and of very high quality and the staff were so friendly and provided excellent service. The restaurant is located on the banks of the river and makes for a relaxing, charming atmosphere. It is a bit expensive when you go all out (alcohol, entree, main and dessert!) but worth every cent! Gelati/ice cream was amazing and would definitely recommend leaving space for dessert! (I had lemon tart with lemon gelato and would recommend that combination!) Will definitely be going back as have to try out more of the menu!

Our visits to the beautiful King Valley always include a dinner at Rinaldo's. This restaurant would do well anywhere because of the passion of the owner/chef in presenting and cooking wonderful, tasty, seasonal outstanding food.Tonight we had the pork belly bruschetta, and the burrata al pesto(best burrata we ever had). For mains a perfectly cooked bistecca with plentiful sides and a spaghetti carbonara infused with beautiful hearty flavours.Thankyou Rinaldo's,we look forward to our next visit. The service was also very attentitive and homely.

Entree of cold meats was very good, but only came with 2 pieces of bread. My partner had the gnocchi which he enjoyed apart from to much cheese on top.
I had the stuffed eggplant which was very salty and definitely not enjoyable, the salad was on top of the eggplant, which I believe should of been on the side.
The price of $28.00 was very steep for what was served.

Had lunch here recently and ordered GF Calamari Fritti. I assumed it would be served lightly fried with GF flour but it arrived natural -not sure if it was steamed or boiled. The menu stated that the dish included mixed cabbage and Carboor hazlenut - I could not find either of these ingredients in the dish, only rocket and another lettuce. I think it's fair to expect the exact dish you ordered rather than have it changed without being first informed. Friends at my table enjoyed their meals except one who had the same as me.

Lovely venue, but it was super hot when we arrived so were were uncomfortable. A fan or split systems turned on would have been good as we were seated inside next to the pizza oven. We eat out at lots of amazing quality restaurants and the menu for Rinaldos looked fab - in reality, the food here was just ‘alright’. Everything lacked salt (I saw another table ask for salt as well) but the biggest annoyance was the poor table service. Whilst it was great to see the restaurant employed lots of young people, they were super inattentive and I found myself continually having to call out or search to make eye contact. My partner only had one beer during dinner and had the wait staff been over more, we would have purchased a couple more. Our table was constantly left with plates/glasses ready to clear and no one came to collect them for the mains until I asked them to. I’d often see the wait staff standing and doing nothing when they should have been perusing tables etc. The host was a lovely man doing his best to train the staff when he saw them ignore simple things like providing new cutlery etc., but he was busy so didn’t see the lack of attention to our table. It still would be a nice place to eat with the food ok, but service needs improvement.

Booked here for a special night while visiting the area. Great location and setting. Menu certainly had plenty of options. Genuinely friendly and attentive staff. All of our dishes were plated well and were full of flavour. Decent wine selection, especially for local wines. What made the night even more special was that at the table next to us they were celebrating the 89th birthday of their mum on the upcoming Sunday, which was the same date of my partner's birthday. We spoke briefly with them and as they left the daughter put a $50 note under out bottle of wine. "For his Birthday" she said to me as they walked off. How amazing was that!? Truly the world has some beautiful people in it, and on that night some of them happened to be in Wangaratta!

Unfortunately there were some issues here. Dined here on a public holiday. The 10% public holiday surcharge is a choice made by the operator and it's optional. A few doors down we had breakfast at a place with no surcharge, and the meals spoke for themselves.
So onto the meals here.
Had the fried calamari for entree. These were deep fried rings, oily and below average @$18.50. Next was the roast quail @$20.00. We have had grilled Quail previously which we much preferred over the roasted ones. For mains, we had the Porcini fettuccini @$29.00, which was rather bland and tasteless, and also an average pizza @$28.00. Add drinks, and the total came to $130, then another $13 of surcharge.
On the positive side, the setting at night looking out at the lit up trees was pleasant. Also the waitresses were very attentive, polite, and helpful.

It never disappoints me, staff were on point and attentive.
A beautiful glass of Montepulciano red, and a meal to die for, I just ate probably the best Egg Ravioli with Roast Pumpkin and Ricotta, drizzled in a creamy Sage and Pumpkin sauce topped with Pecorino.
Rinaldos in Wangaratta is great, with very authentic Italian food and wines.

I had an exceptional dining experience at this Italian restaurant. Despite not having a reservation and arriving close to kitchen closing time (literally 5min), the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. The service was outstanding, and the kitchen managed to deliver a meal that was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Every aspect of our visit, from the warm welcome to the last bite, left a lasting impression. Highly recommend for both the exceptional service and delightful cuisine. Even got to take the leftovers home which were wrapped like I’d never had leftovers wrapped before. All finished off with an ice cream. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Lovely ambience, great staff and good value!
We shared an entree of arancini which was delicious. Lovely moist risotto balls (3) packed with plenty of tasty mushroom, served on a very nice pea puree.
For mains we had fettuccini with creamy mushroom and bacon sauce, and casarecce with a spicy lamb and capsicum ragu. Both mains were excellent! Perfectly cooked house made pasta with a generous serve of sauce. They definitely don't skimp on the meat and veg in their sauces either!
Good selection of beer, both on tap and bottled, and plenty of choice on the wine list.
Overall an excellent meal for two hungry people, food and drinks for under $100
We highly recommend this venue for authentic, delicious Italian food.

The food served at Rinaldos was absolutely delicious. A good size meal that suited our older age group. The wine list was not huge but adequate. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. I highly recommend this restaurant for fine dining. Would like to thank the management for rearranging the table settings with no fuss, at our request.

We booked for New Years Eve. The food was sensational. The service was good bar one person. I tried 4 different wines, which were all fine. I copped one fly in my 3rd glass that was 3/4 empty, which I didn’t care. No fault of anyone. My fourth glass I copped a bug which was full. So I obviously didn’t touch that one and the waiter was annoyed with me as if it was my fault. Gladly the people on the table next to me noticed and commented. The waiter then came back and asked if I’d like another glass of wine. Der of course I wanted a replacement. Would I go again, yes the food outweighed the experience.

Great pasta, had the gnocchi ragu and the pappardelle with creamy mushrooms and shaved truffle. Unfortunately we couldn’t get a reservation, but had take away twice. Good for business being booked solid, but we would’ve liked to eaten in, so book early.

What an excellent dining experience! We were brilliantly attended to by the well trained young women serving the tables - charming and very professional - obviously well trained. We loved the food. Authentic and generous. We loved the prices - everything was very reasonably priced considering the high quality. The drinks list is well priced, too. Wangaratta is very lucky to have such a great Italian restaurant. It's well situated next to the river, as well.
