Marksies is an outback dinner with a difference. Slow Cooked beef stew with high quality damper is delicious and very filling. It is followed by gem scones with jam and cream. It is not possible to leave hungry. Marksies commentary accompanied by a refreshinglocal brew...made it one of the most enjoyable dining and entertainment experiences I have ever had.More

Just an incredible night, with really great food, stories and laughs. We did the sounds of silence dinner in Uluru and a night at Marksie’s was much better (and so much better value for money!) ...would highly recommend if you have a night in Katherine.More

Wow, that's a shame. Sorry you didn't enjoy yourself, but yes, it is not for everyone. There are over 10 different bush herbs spices fruits and foods in the Camp Oven stew, and these are not as powerful as a curry, or chilli, but a...More

For a town like Katherine this was an interesting evening experience, Marksie is a very good host, very welcoming, his staff were good and he is a very good story teller. It would have been good to have a few more options than stew and...scones.More

We booked in Marksie's camp tucker night for my partners birthday, he is gluten intolerant and we weren't sure how much he would be able to eat but we still wanted the Stockman's camp experience. We did not need to worry, Marksie and his team...made sure he was supplied with gluten free scones and his own damper and even his very own gluten free birthday cake - amazing hospitality. The camp stories were fun, the meals were fantastic, and the team were friendly and went over and above to make sure everyone had a good night.More

The camp oven meal in a rustic ourdoor setting was wonderful. Marksie had some great yarns, great staff and great country hospitality. My partner has coeliac disease and was amazed how she was provided with gluten free damper and gluten free gem scones. I tried...her damper it was every bit as good as the normal damper.More

Had a brilliant night at Marksie's. He cooked a special vegetarian meal for my mum and I, still putting in all his famous bush herbs and spices to make sure we didn't miss out on anything. Penny, Marksie and their staff work extremely hard to...make the food and the night memorable for all their guests. 5 stars all around!!More
