Unison Vineyard is situated on the famed Gimlet Gravels wine growing area near Hastings in Hawke's Bay, which is a renowned terroir for producing amazing red wines. Unison is a family owned boutique style winery, with cellar door sales and very pleasant indoor and outdoor...eating areas. Our mission was to sample some reds, have a meal, and take home some great red wines for our cellars. As it was Saturday the very congenial and incredibly knowledgeable cellar door host Gideon led us to a table where we sampled some of the wines on their extensive list, and ordered an amazing open steak sandwich from the interesting Winter menu. We knew Gideon from a previous winery and were delighted to catch up with him again. We will certainly be back! We left fully sated with our purchases clinking in the back of the car - mission accomplished!More

I had the pleasure of experiencing a wine tasting at Unison with my entire family + partners. We're a large group of fussy people and often difficult to cater to, but received what we found to be an exceptionally warm, attentive and entertaining service -...we really felt as though we'd received the royal treatment. Best Trip Ever! While my friends and I were completing an on yer bike winery adventure we stopped at unison! We had the best time with wine suited to our tastebuds and a beautiful platter not to mention the amazing service from Gideon! Gideon definitely...made our day and was a highlight on our trip away! Whilst on our on ya bike tour of winery’s in the region, Unison was a stand out for my friends and I. Our host Gideon was warm and welcoming. His humour, charisma and friendly nature made our experience enjoyable. My friends and I indulged in...a wine tasting that was tailored to our taste. Just a lovely little vineyard in Hastings. Family run with friendly staff. Lovely outdoor seating area. Nice wine and staff who are passionate about the product. We ordered a platter and it was nice to see a gluten free option available
