Had a lovely Devonshire tea here in March. The lightest, tastiest scones ever! As if they had just come out of oven, and clearly made with love, the magic ingredient. Cannot recommend highly enough. Oh yes, the service was friendly and efficient too. Nice and quiet just a street back from waterfront. Well worth stopping here if in Russell. Reasonably... More

We stopped in at the cafe for lunch after a 1/2 day hole in the rock cruise and enjoyed a chicken camenbert & cranberry Panini - delicious. Whilst we snacked ww had complimentary cold water & used the free wifi. Would recommend the specials & the prompt service. Would visit again

We had fish & chips here, with a delicious salad included. All the food was great & sauces came without asking. They have a water dispenser too. Service was friendly & helpful, and there's even free wifi. The cafe's in a very pretty setting, one road back from the front.

We ordered the buttermilk pancakes, delicious and freshly cooked, servings were generous with four pancakes, nicely cooked bacon and banana and served with maple syrup. Our friends were so impressed they ordered pancakes the next day when... More

Went here for breakfast. Lots of choice and everything we had was tasty and fresh. A basic relaxed spot with indoor and outdoor tables. Good coffee too.

We visited Russell by ferry on a beautiful day in early January and the place was packed as were most of the restaurants. This cafe looked empty so we ordered lunch in the cafe but sat outside near the water under the trees . Service was surprisingly swift and the lunch pretty good . My son had 2 of their... More
