Fresh seafood in a really nice setting. Very casual and authentic. May not suit purists but definitely should be on the list of most people. Bring some hot sauce if you want to spice up the food.

What amazing food. Nothing deep fried, healthy and as fresh as you can get. Chowder and groper delish, shame they didn’t have brown Soda bread for that perfect accompaniment to the gorgeous chowder. Hope they get some sun shade for the tables,
Kaikoura is famous for its crayfish. You must try the BBQ crayfish. It is best to have it at the shop instead of packing it back to your hostel or hotel.
