Rather suprisingly this restaurant is liked by many people. I dislike giving a poor review but I'm afraid without honesty this whole review thing becomes a farce. I have lived in Thailand for several years. I enjoy Thai food. The food in this restaurant is not authentic. It's sort of 'foreigners Thai food'. I'm afraid the service was poor. I... More

Was completely starving and we had to wait along time for our meals. But the food was great and the waitress was very friendly and helpful.

Visited this Thai restaurant at the weekend for a family meal. Service was good, very polite although took a little while to place orders. Starters were variable, chicken in the satay was cooked to perfection, the sauce however was terrible, really sweet with minimal aromatic aspects. Mains were nice enough, but were more chinese or kiwi-thai than authentic, the green... More

I love the vegetarian pad Thai and the friendly staff on a week night, plenty of left overs. Attractive setting.

Had the pleasure of travelling to Whangarei for work and this was the closest Thai restaurant to where I was staying. Soon as we entered we were greeted promptly and guided to our seating area. Our server was polite and knowledgable about the food. Ordered panang chicken curry and a duck dish. Food was prepared within a good time frame,... More

One of the ladies suggested having dinner before the show. The restaurant was quite busy for a Wednesday night. The service was okay. My entrée wasn't as tasty as I thought it could be as the chicken satay was a slightly overcooked and the peanut sauce needed more salt. My Pad Thai was tastier but again lacked the depth of... We have been here a few times over the years and the service and the food are consistent. The food is good here but not quite great. However this is a good place to have an occasional meal.
