We often eat at Suk Jai, as we live close by. The food and service is awesome, they have their own special dishes as well as the Thai favourites. Small or large groups are easily accommodated.

The tastes and aroma of Thai cooking temp even the cautious eaters into trying whats on offer. We had a mixed order on the table so people could have a little try at different orders. No complaints it all got eaten!

I have had beef massaman curry in Thailand, China, England, USA,Australia and around NZ. Not once have I been served massaman where the beef equals what is served at Suk Jai at Kensington in Whangarei. Trust me. Try it you’ll be impressed.

you have to bring your own grog as they only serve wine and non alcoholic beverages... i would recommend jamaikan rum for the grog as it is smoother...
