Stopped here for our final breakfast after visiting the Margs region. There's not much seating so we ended up having to sit on the veranda, however it did have blinds so it wasn't too cold at the end of winter. Coffee was fab, I had egg florentine with bacon which was just perfect...my husband had full breakfast and although initially moaning that it didn't come with baked beans, was soon MMMHHHHing away at the delicious mushrooms, home made hashes and delicious sausages. Situated just off the main street and very understated, we may have missed out on this place had we not been staying up the road.

Went there today and had the most delicious Kimchi and pulled pork dish for breakfast. All the other options on the menu sounded great too, has a Paleo and a vegan option plus your regular eggs on toast or yummy pancakes. My fiance ordered the eggs Florentine with smoked salmon which were poached to perfection and we both left feeling full. We like how you can sit outside with your dog too .

Had breaky here on Saturday 30th May - missed the rush apparently when we rocked up about 9.40am. Classic breaky awesome, COVID-19 restrictions in place and handled well by owners. Visited for breaky way back earlier in the year and breaky was awesome then too. $25 for the classic cooked breaky so a little expensive for 2 for breaky at $50 plus coffeee.

Ordered the savoury muffin for breakfast - ingredients listed made no mention of nuts but specified gluten free?? Found a total of 8 almonds inside the muffin! Alerted the waitress who simply said, “Oh well, your wife can eat it”. Luckily I had my Epipen with me but surely listing the presence of nuts is more important than gluten free - anaphylactic shock beats a belly ache every day of the week. And when a customer alerts you to a dangerous practice in your cafe, perhaps an apology and an undertaking to post an alert in the future would be a better response than a joke.

We're devastated when people don't have a great time at Drift. Feedback helps us so much, however there are some anomalies in your review which I hope you don't mind me commenting on. I know this is hard as we don't get to have a conversation on TripAdvisor so I hope this is fair...
Our muffin ingredients weren't listed at all when you came in. This was because the muffins are placed in a basket while cooling. As we can't write on the basket as per the glass dome we later put them under, we have the list of them at hand for when people enquire. With conversations able to be had on ordering we didn't see this as a dangerous practice however as it did become a threatening situation for you we have worked on what we can do better.
On finding out about the situation you were confronted with, our staff member did apologise and offer replacement, which was declined as your wife said she had eaten the muffin herself. We're sorry the response made by our girl that she hoped your wife had enjoyed the muffin sounded like a joke as this was not her intent and you can be assured we have taken your experience seriously as you hoped.

I keep going to this great little cafe and have yet to be disappointed.
Of the 5 of us in for breakfast all had something different and all enjoyed what we got and didn’t leave hungry.
I was really surprised to see a couple of bad reviews as this is not consistent with my experience and I reckon we have been there 30 times or more in the last 2 years.

My husband and I met a friend for lunch here. Our friend ordered the Paleo breakfast which was chorizo with baked sweet potatoe, fennel, asparagus and basil jus. I ordered the same but swapped out the chorizo for 2 huge , juicy field mushrooms, grilled to perfection. Really happy with the food . My husband went for the wagyu burger and said it was delicious, had fresh salad on it and nice bun . It came with wedges and they were also fresh and yummy with some sauce.
Later we ordered some fresh pressed juice, I had the apple, celery, carrot and ginger which was tangy, cold and not full of ice, like some juices I've tried elsewhere.
All up, a very good meal .
Young staff, pleasant .
Seating a little uncomfortable, hard wooden chairs, so we asked for cushions and that did help.
Service was fast .

Just enjoyed a beautiful breakfast here. Poached eggs on toast plus a generous full breakfast was just as we imagined.
Service was very friendly, and seemed very popular with the locals.
Definitely worth stopping by.

We popped in after a morning on the beach to have a bit of lunch. I ordered the chicken salad and my hubby and daughter ordered burgers. The salad was amazing, really delicious and fresh ingredients. The burgers were well received too and the homemade thick cut chips an added bonus. Great, wholesome food that was well priced in a place with a great vibe and really friendly staff. Try it out. You won't be disappointed.

It is hard to provide a really outstanding breakfast byut Drift does just that in a quirky but efficient setting and with great down to earth staff. The place is packed so there is a sign. The Classic Breakfast manages to outdo anything in most major cities, while the special Chizo dish was fabulous. Search out this genuine gem

Delicious food but service could use some improvement. Greetings wasn’t genuine I would even say it was kinda rude when we asked if we could get a table, all we get was “dine in? Or take away?” We asked for a menu to look at and was told to sit down first and they will get us a menu. Decided to get a takeaway coffee before we left but staff behind the bar were chatting instead of serving the customers? Coffee was burning hot. Nice little cafe but I’d say it was a disappointing experience.

My heart always plummets when we get a poor rating. I'm really glad you enjoyed our food and we've taken on board that your coffee was too hot.
With regard to my front of house girls, I just don't find them to have a rude bone in their bodies. They are all sweet natured and I'm just wondering about your experience. I'm thinking that english is the second language for three of my girls and that may be why the response wasn't quite accurate. I'm also thinking of how hard they've been working, run off their feet all morning with so many visitors to town and so few cafes fully open and therefore their interaction was a bit quick. And while I've not seen their friendly little interactions ever being to the detriment of customers I did notice when I worked with them on Saturday that one of the girls was assisting another when the bandage over her stitches came loose and needed tightening - could this have been what kept you waiting? Well I guess we won't know and if it wasn't then they did slip up. We wish you all the best and hope your cafe experiences are great ones.

We weren’t disappointed with the google recommendation, we wanted to have breakfast at a place we haven’t visited before in Margaret River for my partners birthday.
Food came out so quickly, bacon and eggs cooked to perfection and a really tasty rosti
Coffee was a disappointment to us, it was like a cup of hot milk.
Staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. Quite small inside, but a lovely environment. There is also outside seating on the verandah. We managed to get a car park on the street out the front. We will go back again.. thanks

Do yourself a favour and eat here! We usually wing it and find somewhere on the run to eat (which involves lots of arguing and last minute decisions) but this time we did our research before heading out for breakfast. We were absolutely rewarded for our efforts. This cafe is everything it promises to be (via its website - yes we watched the video & could see the love you have for your cafe) and through positive reviews on trip advisor.
We felt very welcomed and the food was outstanding.
Most importantly the anaphylactic nut allergies in our group were treated with the most care and concern we’ve seen.
I bet the locals love this little cafe tucked away off the main street. Thank you for sharing your little local treasure with us.

My partner and I had brekky at Drift Cafe and both of our meals and coffees were top notch and delicious. I chose the paleo brekky (not because I'm paleo but because it had heaps of tasty ingredients) with a slice of paleo zucchini bread and every mouthful was amazing. The sweet potato stack, the locally made chorizo, all of it! My partner had eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and his meal was also delicious. The service was excellent and there is a lovely atmosphere in the cafe. Highly recommended!

We visited two days in a row with our school age children and dog. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the food and service was excellent. Our kids ate everything on their plate of pancakes which is quite unusual. Food was good value and tasty, with lots of great choices. Also, being slightly off the main road in Margaret River it was not too busy. I strongly recommend it.

Being Brownie connoisseurs currently on the road we popped into Drift for morning coffee. Perfect table for people watching, sublime coffee and a generous chocolatey slub of crunchy, gooey wonder. Heartily recommend any day of the week.
