The ambience was great, quite unique and very comfortable. The wait staff were efficient and helpful. However we were not so happy with the food, the garlic bread was over cooked, the barramundi and the pasta were only average. We have had much better elsewhere....The restaurant is licensed but the wines were our opinion overpriced. Overall overprice and disappointing.More

Read all the reviews before we booked here and was expecting the food to be much better than turned out. I had the fish of the day which was served with a rather bland salad. But by far the worst thing here was the potato...crisps that were also served. Potato crisps are you serious? I could have picked up a bag from Coles that would have tasted better. They tasted and smelt like they had been cooked in old oil. Shame on you for pretending to be a classy restaurant. One last thing when I was paying my bill I told the waitress about this and her reply was” that’s the way we always serve it” We won’t be wasting our money there again!More

The place is quirky with lots of character. Tables were set a bit close together for my liking. Food was good. Staff friendly and helpful.

Eye fillet was excellent as was the pork sausage pasta. Bruschetta could have had some parmesan and vinegarette on it. It was diced tomato on toast. Will return.

La Scarpetta has always caught my eye when we visit Margaret River and we finally got to go. Oh joy. Fabulously cozy, atmospheric ambience. Attentive and knowledgeable staff, fabulous menu and massive wine selection. The food? The pasta is to die for. Simple, rustic, delicious...moreish food. This experience was a gastronomic treat. Must go again...and again.More

Visited two days ago to celebrate my 60th birthday. We had a sharing platter of cooked meat, cheeses & olives for entree followed by a pasta dish of slow cooked lamb and my husband had stuffed pigs trotter. It was all so awesome. Definitely worth...a visit when you are in Margaret River.More

We had an excellent entree of buffalo mozzarella with tomatoes followed by fish of the day and tagliatelle. Both were fresh and well presented. The restaurant itself is very comfortable and the seating arrangements are good. The staff are very friendly and attentive, making polite...conversation. Overall we had a great time there. It’s busy so book well in advance to secure a spot.More
