Excellent food, well cooked. Fast and friendly service. Love the paint job on the walls! Good emphasis on local produce.

Came here over the long weekend for a dinner. The ambience of the place was great and staff were attentive. However as quite a few of the other reviewers have stated, the food falls short of expectations. I had the pork ribs and although it...came as a very generous serving (possibly could feed 2 people), it was really tough and dry. No amount of sauce could save the dryness of the pork, which was quite a disappointment as it was a dish with so much promise. My partner had the garlic prawns which were well presented on a hot plate, and tasted okay.More

My husband had the duck and it was ok. I had a well done steak which was good. Service was fine. Decor needs an upgrade i think.

Don’t usually write any negative reviews as prefer to highlight all the positive things if going to take the time to say anything, but was disappointed with the meal. Husband ordered pork spare ribs which were mostly fatty but what meat was on ribs was...so tough he had to really work hard to cut it off. He was so disappointed he didn’t even end up licking the bones as they were too dry. My steak was mostly ok but still had a slightly raw meaty taste in some parts. Salad that came with it was delicious though & although the duck fat potatoes were nice there was way too many of them. Not a cheap meal so would have expected a lot better. We were there early (6pm) so no excuse for being busy. Staff were excellent & attentive. But with so many restaurants in Margaret River to choose from I definitely won’t be back.More

I went for an early dinner with my wife. I had bad vibes when I arrived. The place is dark, dingy & tatty. We had drinks to start with. In hindsight we should have left then. The starter was stale bread & olives. My wife...had crispy pork belly which surprisingly she said she liked. I had a 350 g sirloin steak, meant to be medium rare, it was the worst steak I’ve had, dry, tasteless, with a large amount of fat, difficult to swallow, the potatoes dry & covered with salt, the vegetables sloppy, soggy & oily. The steak cost $46. Initially when asked if everything was alright & before I’d really eaten much, I said it was ‘lovely’ as I felt so embarrassed about how bad I thought my food was. Maybe l’m fussy. I complained to the lady I believe was the manager, she walked away, came back & said ‘can I offer you anything’. No explanation or apology & said absolutely nothing when I paid & left. One of the waitresses who served us was polite. I would say avoid!More

We just wanted a glass of wine & we were turned away saying they were fully booked. Lots of empty tables, we even said we we were happy to sit outside on the comfy chairs but wasn’t to happen. Won’t be trying there again!

Staff were polite and attentive, but the atmosphere was lacking and space was quite dated. Food was ok - but lacked flavor and very strange combinations on the plate and more was like a very overpriced “home cooked” meal.

We were a group of our people and we had prawn pasta, Polenta sticks, Arancini balls, Korean chicken, and a greek salad. Really good service, nice atmosphere.

Absolutely FANTASTIC FOOD, best hummus ever, divine duck and incredible ribs. Serves are huge, entrees we ordered, hummus (did I mention this is astonishing), and Korean fried chicken were awesome but were really main meal size. Then I went the duck (WOW) and my wife...the pork ribs, TOO HUGE, but you can takeaway so ALL GOOD.More
