What a lovely restaurant. We chose this restaurant based on its positive reviews and were not disappointed. The ambience, the food and the service, everything was in balance. There was a great sense of calm from all the the staff, from the open kitchen to...the floor, making the atmosphere relaxed and comfortable. The menu was varied and well priced. The polenta chips were cheesy and rich. Crunchy on the outside, silken in the middle. My pork belly was tender and flavoursome with crunchy crackling and well balanced sides. The vegan curry was aromatic with varied al dente vegies. The rhubarb Panna Cotta was smooth and tart. I finished my meal with the sensation I had just experienced a rare and faultless moment.More

Whilst I enjoyed my dinner, my partner was disappointed with his ribs. For $41 he expected better quality, they were quite average. The oysters were okay, the sauce on the Oysters Kilpatrick quite overpowering. The coctails were just okay, little under par for the cost....The desert was nice and the staff friendly. For what we paid we would expect a bit better quality. Its a decent restaurant but charging fine dining prices which isn't warranted.More

Thanks for your comments. Most our produce is organic and free range which makes the prices go up a little in the end. We make all efforts to make our dish tastes delicious. Sorry to hear that you didn't enjoyed your time at the Arc....More

We started with a drink and were not sure if the live music would be too loud once it stated. Decided to order and see what unfolded. I had the pork belly which was amazing. The Mr had the duck which was also amazing. The...music was so great that after finishing our meals we decided to sit on the comfy lounge chairs and hang around to listen. The music was from our era, easy to listen to and the singer had an amazing voice and new his way around the guitar and other bits of music technology he had. The keyboard guy also had a lovely voice and they worked well together and seemed to be enjoying themselves. The music was an unexpected bonus to a great meal.More

It was a lovely restaurant not busy on a monday night but cosy and welcoming. A small menu but interesting options, my steak was rare as requested and OMG the potatoes cooked in duck fat, yum yum. We would definitely go again

We enjoyed our meal at the Arc. It was not noisy and the service was good. We had some oil, olives and dukkah as a starter and enjoyed this dish. The choice of olives was very good. I had the sirloin steak and my partner...ate the duck leg. My steak was OK, when the gristle was sliced away, but better were the potatoes and the warm bean salad that accompanied the meat. There were no complaints about the duck dish. Service was fine. Average meal, nice environment. Would go back again.More

Walked through margaret river and found this place. Sat in the bar area. Had a lovely bottle of Vasse Felix and the most tasty food. Beef and cheese croquettes with a lovely lime aioli, Greek salad....yum....and the best smashed roasties with tandoori creme freche. Great...price for a tasty treat! Will be returning!More

Arc of Iris is a bit of a quirky restaurant - as evidenced by its name. The decor is eclectic with a variety of chairs and tables. It's situated next door to the very well known (and popular) Morries restaurant where we ate last night....Arc of Iris was easily better than Morries for food and service. The two main wait staff at Arc of Iris were both very friendly and efficient. The young guy was especially charming. The restaurant got quite busy by the time we finished our meals but they coped very well. The menu isn't large but there’s enough there to suit most tastes. My wife had the duck leg with Asian spices and rated it as excellent. My vegan green curry was superb. Lots of green beans, broccolini, cauliflower and tofu to combine with the rice to soak up the creamy curry sauce. The best dish I've eaten over three days at Margaret River. Fresh and cleansing. Then topped off by two really tasty sorbets - mango and passion fruit. We'd both go back there at the drop of a hat. Recommended.More
